About Me

My name is Beth Wangui 27years old. I was born in a small village called Bahati in Nakuru town, Nakuru county rift valley province in Kenya. Im the second Born in a family of eight childrens. i went to Bahati primary school where I sat for my Kenya certificate of Primary education KCPE and passed with B+. where i was the best student that year. I was previlled to be among Ten student who were enlisted to join Shinners girls High school in form one and due to my Hard work, I secured a four year sponsorship to from community development Fund to pay my school fees for four years.
After I had completed my High school, i returned Home but life was not easy as my parents were jobless and could not afford to pay my university fees and this situation forced me to think about what i can do in order to pay my university fees and this is how I started doing small scale farming in order to achieve my goals.

My Business

my Business deals specifically small scale farming where I grow cash crops such as Cabbages, Potatoes, Onions and potatoes. This goods and services are useful and high in demand since this crops are stable food in our community and most people depends on it for food and this makes them in High demand.
i chose to start this business because it is easy to start since the capital required to start is affordable as long as one has a Land to till. the typical cost of my business is 600US Dollars with a weekly profit of 200US Dollars.
The profits that I get from this Business I use it to pay school fees for my kids , save for the expansion of my business and pay my outstanding zidisha loan and home improvement. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

Lenders if I get the loan I will buy tomato seeds that goes for about 90dollars.This project will be helpfull to my community as a whole because they will be able to get fresh farm produce at a lower price from my farm and also I will be able to generate some money to pay for my fees in agricultural course that am planning take so that i get more knowledge in farming.

Thank you so much lenders for your untiring continued support that you offer to zidisha members, may God increase you. From the previous loan I was in a position to pay my school fees and also to buy a bigger generator that consumes less fuel.current i have also tilled a bigger potion of land and planted water melons.Am kindly requesting lenders to lend me so that I will be able to buy some pesticides.

Am overwhelmed by lenders and the organization as a whole.Let me start by thanking every heartfelt lender in zidisha team for the first loan I got from you,it really made a difference in my life and also to my village and I believe in the next few years with the help of zidisha I will be a large scale farmer...I cannot regret being a zidisha member because when I received the first loan it worked better for me because I was in a position to buy a generator and now am doing irrigation from a stream that passes through my farm especially in this dry season so am not depending on rain...thanks my lenders i believe we are going far
