About Me

I am Jonathan Mweene born in 1998 in Zambia.I grew up in Luanshya where I did my primary education and later concentrated on business. I couldnt finish school after my mother died and she was a single parent. The little benefits that came from the house where she worked as a maid I sell farming inputs especially maize but I also own my own shop where I sell mainly wrappers for women. My business has been growing but with some good capital I can go very far in my business.

My Business

My business has two parts, one I order farming products especially maize from different farmers then I sell at the markets and make profit. The other major one I do is I sell clothes and wrappers in my shop which am renting. These wrappers I buy them from Congo DRC and they are good quality. women in Zambia wear wrappers everyday so the demand is very huge. The profit I buy food and save for future use. I am very committed to saving money.

Loan Proposal

I am so happy to be given this chance to apply for a loan of K2265. I am very confident this money will help me a lot. I want to buy about 20 traditional wrappers known locally as chitenges for sale. These traditional wrappers are worn by both women and men. Men make suits of trousers and shirts and women designs are many. The profit will be good for my business and I will use the profits to buy food and increase my capital.

Income Source

Apart from selling traditional women wrappers I also sell farm produce like maize and maize in my country is on high demand so am able to repay the loan without so much struggle.
