I was born in Elgeyo Marakwet County in Keiyo District , Kapserere Village and am part of a family of eight members of which I am the eldest daughter. I went to Sitotwo Primary School then I finally completed my fourth at Koptega Girls School . Later I eventually joined Nehema Institute for a Diploma Course in Information communication technology and Secretariat. I also have an acceptable level in the field of computing. I have 2 years of experience in the field of technology. I opened a cyber café in the last one year and needed to expand it a bit.My hobbies are swimming,socializing,making friends and typing work.

I Brenda Rono, am in the Business of Cyber Cafe'/internet services, printing and photocopy services.The business is under one roof situated at CBD Eldoret, which provides ready market for my stock.The business is viable since it is all year round and I have sufficient clients, the business is also located in a busy market centre.

My business provides printing, photocopying, scanning and internet browsing as the main services where my daily regular source of income comes from. I started it with the aim to satisfy people’s needs in the region where job applications are done online so scanning is needed, photocopying of documents as some people move office to office looking for a job so they have to photocopy their certificates. Doing all these and other services promotes the business and helps to generate more income.
Though there are some difficulties that try to bring the business down, such as , high electricity bill monthly and rent which is increasing month after month.
Within the region there are some business that offer the same services, this being another tragedy in running this business, I always overcome it by offering discounts to my valued clients, also I tend to give credits to the potential customers and they pay later according to agreed time, because of this also helps for they never fail to pay hence it helps to retain my customers and also they do introduce their friends, relatives and workmates to my business as a result of good relationship hence this results to profitable business with the services I offer. Though the business is small but I do struggle and settle the debts and indeed I end up saving a small amount of the entire income.
The business brings in a reasonable income and due to potential customers that I have, they make me know what has to be done so as to make the business profitable and helpful in the society and the entire community as well as my basic needs are considered in. Also looking at other services such as binding can help boost the business as compared without, to add computer which are of high speed so as to satisfy customers who use internet needs and this will bring more customers to the business and the results will be determined with the income generate as compared to previous.

Blank cd's: A pack costs 500/= with 50 pieces, a piece sells at 25/= ( 50 x 25) = 1250 less buying price of 500/= we get a profit margin of 750/= (Targetting 2 Packs)
NB: The cd's will sell faster as I burn movies alot and sell each at kshs. 50/=

Envelopes:
A Pack costs 150/= a profit of 50 each ream and planning to purchase 5 of it , a profit of 250/= for it.

Biro Pens and Ream of papers will go at :
Biros- kshs. 10 each ( A pack will cost 300/=) and has 250 pieces)
Ream of papers will buy at 350/= and sell @ 420/= each (Number of reams targeted 5) Profit: 350/=
