About Me

I am a 27year old man born and raised in Thika.I studied at Genaral Kago primary school and later joined Broadway secondary school which i cleared in 2006 with a C+.Due to lack of school fees i joined Garissa primary school as private employed teacher for to raise my college fees.I joined the Excel Institute as as CPA student in 2012.In the year 2012 i started a shoe business to supplement me as i was studying which i supplied in the evening.Thika is a town with diverse culture that has a lot of colleges and i the demand of clothes and shoes is very high.In the year 2013 business was match demanding and i changed my classes to part time to enable me cater for my fees.My pass time is spent as a football coach to slum kids and orphans in institutions such as Wema,Action aid and angaza sports and development centre.

My Business

My business involves supply of shoes and clothes to the local community.Thika is a town with diverse culture and it has atleast 60% of its group as ladies. This is why i chose to take this type of business to meet rising demand in this item as due to the high number of students in Thika. My cost involves purchase of inventory, rent and transport. My profit is spent on personal needs, reinvestment and education.

Loan Proposal

My loan will be used in purchase of 29 pairs of shoes at $98.This is because Thika has a high demand of women shoes especially due to the colleges and university students here. The cost per pair is $3.33 and revenue per shoe ranges between $6.66- $8.88 and my avarage sale per week is 20pairs.The revenue per week is an avarage of $155 and a profit of $88 per week.My current avarage profit per month is $350 and i am expecting to improve by $250 after implementing the resources i a borrowing. These will ensure residents of Thika acquire descent shoes at reasonable prices and also improve my welfare and investment in return. My hope and dream is to become the largest supplier of shoes in Thika and later in Kenya.

Thanks lenders for giving me opportunity to continue with my business last year it had some cash flow problem but during the December month the business was at boom and helped me to repay the full amount of loan where am very happy about that, because this year I want to increase the stock through funding from zidisha.org. also when my business grow and earn a lot of profit some of the money will try to open a new branch, the other part to continue with my university education, through zidisha.org my life have been going from better to better. Thats why I want to be committed to it for much benefits I have derived. My life is a little better now.
