About Me

My name is elly cheelo am the second born in the family of 3girls and one boy. I am married to Maxwell Chifuti with four children 2boys and two girls the first born and the second born recently got married. From the time I completed my education life has never been easy but with the help of my husband and family i was able to start a stationery business. My first born child is an accountant working with Neria Investments and the second born is working with world vision, the third and last born are still in school. During my past time I play music and like spendinding time with my family.

My Business

I provide stationery items for sale, these goods are on demand cause these are used for office use and in schools as well. Novels and a variety of books helps the commumity to get encouragement on how they can utilize there belongings in a good manner, I pay for rent ...$45 and other bills for about $35. I use my profit to benefit my family and to expand my business.

Loan Proposal

I want to expand my stationery business by adding items I had not ordered during the first purchase I took. I want to get Diaries, Folders, Hardcover Books, Ball Pens Pencils, Mobile Boards and Dasters. This will cost me $150. This purchase will build my business and sure to increase my profts by 75 percent. Looking forward to fund my project. Thanks.

    As a Volunteer Mentor for Elly, I have made an effort to call her but her phone has been off. I also tried calling one of her references, Austine, unfortunately his phone wasn't going through also. I will keep trying so that I understand what exactly is the problem.

    From the recent loan I got I was able to boost my business, the loan indeed helped me greatly in that Ive been able to sustain myself and my family because of the increase in profit. It had a positive outcome, this loan even helped me to start developing the small land I got sometime back. And I trust that once you afford me another one then it will move me a step forward.     Though having challenges with my stationary business. The loan has really helped me in many ways. My family has enough to to feed on. I have been able settle the small bills I had, schools fees for my children haven't been a problem to pay. Thanks a lot for the loan. Wish to be given another one

    Thanks for the loan and it has helped my family a lot. Unfortunately my business has been affected badly due to our business center Lusaka City Market that was caught on fire some two weeks ago and this will affect my repayments. Please see photos of my shop I lost everything I had in my shop.
