About Me

I am a young kenyan lady with a college diploma in counselling i first landed my contractual employment with MSF(doctors with out borders) as a H.I.V and AIDS counsellor one year after completing college a job that i held for two years and following the end of msf contract i was absorbed with AMPATH in the same position. When my second contract ended i ventured into business opening an MPESA shop(mobile phone money transfer service) that has currently grown into a small retail shop.

My Business

When i opened my MPESA shop i got only commision from safaricom and in order to diversify and increase my income i started a small retail shop that is steadily growing as the business is located in a well populated area with a sizeable number of customers both for the mpesa service and retail shop.Other than this business i from time to time still work as a counsellor with AMPATH on short contractual basis.

Loan Proposal

When i am granted the loan i intend to increase my stock of flour in the shop bacause i have doiscovered that its rate of stock turn-over and therefor i the profit marging is comfortable and i am confident of paying a loan ofthis margin without lots of fuss. Thanks

Lilian got a job and as a result had to leave her shop to her assistant full time this assistant apparently mismanaged her shop that has lead its closure, though she has promised to clear the balance when I spoke to her yesterday.

my absence from the shop has had devastating effect on my business therefore in order for me and the shop to survive I have no choice but to reduce that installment amount further.

Two months back I landed employment with the county government and I have been posted in bunyala (a considerable distance from my business) this meant I have to rent in bunyala and commute every fortnight to check on my business and children in addition I have to employ a full time shop assistant and nanny, these additional expenses coupled with the fact that I am still on probation has put a strain on my income hence the need to reduce on my installments.

The MPESA business is fraught with "sharks"(fraudsters) and two days ago i had left my shop assistant alone and unfortunately the "sharks" tricked him and got away with 55,000 KES.

Hi lenders I was going through my profile and I have noticed that I mentioned my index finger as the problematic finger this was a mix up the problem was on my thumb and I attach here a photo that I took some weeks after the surgery.

Hi lenders i did receive the cash right after the surgery. and i was unable to communicate due to the pain, i used the money to offset a loan that i had taken for the purpose of the surgery.

Though seemingly small the loan has in a significant way boosted my business and the growth is clearly seen thanks zidisha for the platform and you lenders for your support.
