I am 30 years old married with one child.
I was born in Nairobi.
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and have previously sold mobile phones before venturing out into textiles where I saw a big gap unlike the mobile phone business which was saturated and dominated by big players.
I have a bachelor of commerce degree majoring in marketing.
I love travelling and learning new cultures.
I am also an ardent sports fan and regularly attend sporting events all over the country.

I aim to grow my business into a big online retail business and expand my product offerings.

My Business

I sell bedroom textiles. These are duvets, duvet covers, pillows,bed sheets, curtains and rugs.
I am based in hurlingum nairobi.
I market my product through my facebook page "Style My bedroom"

I have been in this business for over 2 years now.
I import the beddings from United Kingdom and sell in Nairobi.
I make home and office deliveries to customers via a courier.
My average revenues per month are $1388.
My typical costs are :
$ 40 on Facebook Advertisement
$600 on purchasing stock
$255 on shipping, logistics and customs
$77 on rent for my small office
My profits are on average 30% of my revenues £416.
I use majority of the profits on home improvements, i also re -invest part of the profits.

Loan Proposal

As Christmas approaches I would like to increase my promotional budget so as to grow my sales during this season as people tend to spend more and would want to capitalize on the opportunity.

I want to promote my products on Facebook and increase sales over the Christmas and New Year Period.

I will be hoping to grow my budget to for Facebook advertising so as to be able to reach more potential customers and in-turn generate increased revenue and profitability during this season.

    My sales have gradually grown and so have my profits.
    I intend to continue to keep up with my installments and repay the loan.

    I added Rugs and carpets to my products. Initially sales were slow but I increased promotion on Facebook which led to increased product awareness which resulted in sales growth.

    I had reduced my installments due to cash flow constraints but now things are back to normal and i would like to settle my remaining balance in full.
    Initially I was to complete my installments the last week of March.
    I had introduced new products which initially did not sell as fast as anticipated but now they are selling well.
