About Me

I am a graduate teacher and attained this academic level through running a small shop in my small cottage back in the village immediately after my secondary education. this enabled me pay my accommodation and my food while at the university.
i started by selling sweet potatoes i bought directly from farmers and sold to travelers at the market later when i had enough money which was only ksh. 3000.00, i started the shop business.

My Business

I am currently mixing both farming and running a shop that deals with a range of services. i bought an m-kopa solar which is helping me charge phones in the village giving me an average of ksh. 700.00 per week. this has been very interesting as our village is far from electricity and this gave me the advantage of offering phone charging services.
i use the income to build capital in my shop and i am planning to run a supermarket in the next one year.
my sugar cane are ready for harvest and i have completed repaying my first loan. i am applying for my second loan to enable me meet my target by end of September 2016. By that time i will have harvested canes, saved good money though my shop to run a supermarket. i have already identified the location for my supermarket and in October there will be good flow of cash as many farmers will have harvested maize and canes. this will enable me make quick sales for my shop to stabilize before the planting season in March 2017

Loan Proposal

i will acquire another m-kopa solar at $140 to increase the number of phones i charge per day from 10 phones to 20 phones a day. thus increase my income from ksh.150.00 per day to ksh.300.00 per day and averagely from ksh.1,800 per week. this amount of income will enable me increase my capital base and work towards running a super market in one year's time.

    Hi team.
I am so excited that my business dream is almost coming true and real. i can now purchase shop items in large quantity and enjoy good profit. the loan i received has made it possible and i have increased my savings to double what i used to save with my first loan.
my school going child can now carry a snack to school and has almost everything needed for school. i have been able to clear his fees and yet still save towards my dream supermarket.
We spend Easter Holidays in Mombasa though it was extremely hot yet still we would afford a decent means of transport to and from Mombasa.
    Thank you
