About Me

Faustina nsor is my name.A professional seamstress,37 years of age and a Ghanaian by birth. I am married with three biological kids and an adopted daughter. Two girls and a boy with the last girl with me in profile picture. My adopted daughter is at the senior high and the boy and the other girl still at the primary school. They still have a long way to go the educational ladder.
The adopted daughter prefers being a teacher to any other profession.
My boy would want to be a lawyer and my girl a nusre but this little one with me here i guess i have to decide for her at the monent. I would like her to be a nurse too because i empathise with people who are sick and need help badly.
I like to cook, read and help people where I can. One of the ways that I want to help others is by paying their health care insurance which puts them on free health care for a year after which is subject to renewal. Unfortunately, our National Health Care System does not provide coverage for people, who are unable to pay the registration or renewal fees. I feel I can help there, and I ask Zidisha's support.

My Business

I am into clothing production as seamstress. I am have been doing this for over 8 years. I design and sew women clothes and also sew school uniforms for 5 five schools who engage me every year. My products are of good quality and fits my clients, due to this i get more referrals from my clients. Also i have also been praised by my customers as having good customers relation with my clients-retaining my customers and increasing customer base.
I have ten(10) apprentices and two(2) employees.
Some also come with their own designs and i work on them.
My products are in demand because women in ghana prefer locally made dresses because they are people of culture and what i produce have elements of culture and culture depicting. My pricing is comparatively fair. I also have contract with some schools i sew uniforms for them.
What i produce is what is mostly worn to places like the church and functions like weddings, naming ceremonies and also Christmas and other festivities.
My products are preferred mostly as result of the blend of modernity with the traditonal style.
My typical cost are $100 into water and light bills. $140 for my two employees monthly. $60 for monthly rent for my two shops. Miscellaneous $20. Averagely, i make revenue of about $900. So my net profit is $580.
My profit is used for renewal of health insurance for the vulnerable, paying of school fees and buying more fabrics for my work.
Repayment
I will pay back my loan through my daily sales.
