My Name is Obed Muchiri Njuki. I am resident of Ongata Rongai county, in the Rift-valley province of Kenya. I started my business after being employed in three different companies where I sharpened the skills necessary for running a graphic design and printing business. I am a skilled graphic designer with enough experience in the Kenyan Printing and Design Industry.
I am a God fearing individual with a religious background.
My graphic design firm is called Windfalls Designs which deals with the branding and printing of promotional items which include, T-shirts embroidered or printed with companies logos. There is an ever growing demand for promotional material due to the visibility need of every company . This is what my firm provides for. My business policy is to do as much for the customer as necessarily possible so as to ensure that the customer is satisfied and my efforts result in a profit for his or her company. This ensured that the client will ref fer my services to other potential clients or will come back when his or her need arises. My services are fairly charged and to highest degree of professionalism. The Printing and Design industry is an ever expanding industry and due to its technological bias today's machines will be outdated in a very short time. This is a challenge that face it that is trying to keep up with technology and still maintain our profit margin.
Our typical monthly costs range from Ksh.10,000 - Ksh.12, 000 when all the expenses have been deducted.
Our net profit on a good month is Ksh 18,000.
We would like a loan of $5000 to buy a multi- head printing machine which will come in handy due to the approaching Election Year where promotional t-shirts will be in high demand.
The loaned amount will be used to purchase a two- head screen printing machine which will enable us to print more t-shirts in time for our customers. This will help due to the on-coming general elections where more campaign t-shirts will be printed and the output time time will have to be reduced due the time limit which is usually small.
