About Me

My name is Francenar Banda, married with one daughter who is seven years now,she is schooling in a private school and she has ever been a performer.I live in Chilulu village in chilulu sub-location in Jibana Location,Kaloleni Division Kilifi county.I'm a shopkeeper,I sell various commodities to shoppers in our area.I'm a form four leaver, and I learned at The St.Johns secondary school.I started this business basically to earn a living and also to atleast go for higher studies.I hope to expand my business to a whale sale.

My Business

My business is shopkeeping,I sell various items in a retail shop, some of the commodities are such as detergents,sugar,wheat/maize flour, salt, soft drinks, snacks, papers, brushes of every categories, house hold items, clothes etc. There is a high demand of these goods because it helps the community to cut down the traveling costs. My customers prefer to my business in that I sell them good commodities and in fare prices. The business is profitable because I buy commodities in a whale sale and sell them at a retail price;for instance a 50kg bag bought at ksh:4500/=and be sold in a retail price at:10000/= in a period of two weeks.Risks that face my business is open air market which is conducted once every week and the other thing is transport. My typical monthly income is ksh:40000/= and my monthly expenditure is ksh:25000/= therefore my profit is ksh:15000/= of which I can repay Zidisha loan very well.

Loan Proposal

The money will help me expand/boost my business by increasing the stock. Some of the items that will buy are maize-flour,wheat-flour,some leso's or clothes, milk, eggs, some drinks like sodas and juice and some chewing gums etc. These items will enable me improve my income and for sure will help me to the next level.

Reason for rescheduling my loan is that my mother is un-well and for that reason I can't met the amount and date stipulated here in the repayment plan.Wish that will bear with me and when its well with me will clear with my loan. All the same will make sure that there is continuity of repayment by 300/= each week for that I may be able to meet home affaires and maintain repayment flow.

The main reason as to make this reschedule today is that I'm expecting to give birth within this month and most probably before fifteenth. Therefore wish to re-apologize once again and hope if all go well by next installment date will do the re-payment without any difficulties.More so will commence on my business without any hindrance.

    Dear lenders,

Francenar has sent us an email today to explain the reason behind her late repayments. Francenar has been taking care of her sick father for the past month, leaving little to no time for her business. Sadly, her father passed away last week.
At the time, Francenar and her family are preparing for the burial on Saturday.
We appreciate your understanding as she and her family lay their father to rest.

Thank you for your continued support!

    Sincerely,

    Analin Saturria McGregor
    Communications Associate at Zidisha.
