About Me

my father became incapacitated by stroke while i was in primary school and my mother was left to fed for the family and through my high school life.

I knew I had to take a brave approach to life.

life was not easy as during the weekend and holidays worked for casual jobs in the neighbors farms to supplement the little my mother could manage to raise. after high school, I passed very well but life was not merciful on me.

I got into casual jobs in construction sites and later my uncle who stayed in Nairobi asked me to join his family and would sponsor me to attend a course. since i didn't perform poorly in business and agriculture subjects i chose accounting. i didn't know after the 1st semester he would lose his job and i dropped out of college.

i thought of the next move forward as giving up in the city and knowing that the village had no life for me, i decided to go back to the college director and asked him if he could take me as college cleaner and be remunerated in the form of attending the lectures(though he called my uncle to confirm it) he obliged. after years of tarmacking in search of a job after college, i applied for a job in a company and i was taken as an accounts assistant.
I am in accounting department and I have a passion in business.

My Business

I have since learned that in my area demand for single rentals is plummeting I need to change my model to longvtern sustainable moves that guarantees me payoffs on fixed timelines.

I have decided to get bricks to minimize on cost and I need cement for lintel.

I have an old peugeot to get Sand , gravel and general construction transport and this I able to save and invest in finishing and nice interiors.

Loan Proposal

i need $35 for the window. i pay on time but i request zidisha to review my limits as i need to move with speed. its a huge project and a mere $15.07 when i can afford to pay it in two days is not good on me. i need the limit to grow because as you can see in my repayment schedule is a repeated $15!!

please help. May God bless you.

i need a metallic window for my poultry house. However, i need for of credit but the system does not increase my limit as you can see from my payment schedule, is a long list of the lend-able minimum of $15.07 (sh. 1,507). i pay on time and i need more to propel my project as soon as possible.

Kindly i need $35. for the window as shown in the picture.

    Hi my Lender,

I thank you for the loan and i am grateful to God that you came and stood in my gap.

However, i have been paying my loan before the due date and the limit is dragging on the $15.07 limit. For example, i needed $60 for the window after the schedule indicated i qualify for $30+ which is almost half but only to get $15.07!

i aim for higher goals and i need to move with speed up so that i get a figure i will pay as per the stipulated timelines whilest the project is fully on its feet.

I have done the second window and i need another last one. i will post pictures next week.

And since Rome was not built in a day, i belief i will still hit the mark.

    Thank you. Muchiri

Thank you lenders for making it happen for me to realize my goal of having a predator proof door for my expanded poultry house.

Kindly see the photos I took yesterday as the door was being delivered.

I need to also get the 3 windows but as they say Rome wasn’t built in one day, I have to go step by step.

On the front window,I need additional funds to add to what I have as the welder’s quote is as follows:

    Window measurements: 2.5ft x 1.5 ft
    - The windows are a bit big to allow enough air flowing into the birds house to prevent airborne infections.
    -1 square tube ((1.5ft)-=$10.40
    -1 Z- Bar (1.5ft)=$9.50
    -2 T bar (standard)=$11.80
    -2 flat sheet (0.75ft)=$6.60
    -1 Angle line (1.5ft)=$10.20
    -4 Bushes (2 each side)=$4
    -Labour cost=$15
    Total window cost=$67.50

If I got the funding early enough I would really appreciate as I need to have the birds stocked in line with the market timings. I need your support kindly.

    May God bless you.

    Morning Paul,

I really appreciate you for support.

I wish to report to you that the predator- proof door is complete and it’s already delivered.

    Kindly see the photos.

I won’t let you go since to need additional funding to do the windows. I need 3 of them but I have to start with the 1st one due to lending regulations. I am repaying my loan in the next hour and borrowing immediately thereafter.

    May God bless u.

    Afternoon lenders,

Thanks a lot for the loan.

I have not received the loan on my phone. i need to increase the credit limit through early [payment and i fear late disbursement of the loan n may affect this.

The door is ready at the workshop and is ready for collection. I hope to have the money soonest so that i can update you with the photo of the progress.

This way i can build on your trust.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jacob

I really thank you for having advanced me a loan last week on Thursday and in appreciation, I paid in 4 days!

I am civil servant working for the Government in my country and a do farming as a side hustle. i come from a poor family background ad my salary is not very enough since being a fist born born to 4 brothers and a sister, 3 of whom are in school and struggling, i am forced to do part time hustles.

I am a miraa farmer and selling is done weekly. i make about $60 per week after expenses and the proceeds i inject into projects. i have employed two part time employees since i have the belief that i need to be my brothers keeper.
I have been in poultry farming but i was frustrated by financing that would not come timely when it was needed as per the feeding schedule.

    1. I have a plan to construct 8 brick rental single roomed bedsitters near my home that i project will fetch me about $120 per month;

    2. I also have a plan of building a baby care since my wife stays at home looking for my kids and she can manage because she has a certificate in Early Childhood Development(ECDE). I project $0.5 per kid as per the local charges. This too will have created job opportunities for several people.

But i cant do this when my family live in a house with in adequate space. i have two kids and the third is on the way. I have already started off with bricks ready and the foundation has been dug. The rains caught me before the slab bit had been done.

i need to finance the Zidisha loan with the farming proceeds and my salary as security.

If granted the loan i promise to pay timely and knowing that my family has a better place top call home. Then i extend to other projects that i really need your hand in.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello my Lenders,

i need to tender my apology of having delayed the loan repayments.

The reason of the delay was that the first loan that was disbursed was on the face of it was insufficient to buy the poultry feeds and since i had no other way of raising cash at the time the birds started dying due to malnutrition.

Since their feeding is strictly on schedule, delayed interventions to be on programme hit a rock bottom and engaged in burial spree-of the carcasses.

I was desperate, almost out of my mind, my savings buried. i decided to be on an psychological break since i have a family of a wife and two kids that i had to feed.

My wife almost ran away because of economic hard ship. i had to sit with my daughter's Headteacher to arrange how fee would be paid.

But despite all that, i promised myself i was to be in Zidisha for ever. i would get back.

Kindly see the photos of desperation.

As your brother, if you go silent on me my future would cry out for you.

i therefore commit, for the sake of future funding to request for loan rescheduling since i am still recovering to be able to repay my loan.

i would be grateful if my request meets your kind consideration.

All of them died and i tried to look for buyers but their weight due to malnutrition, had gone irretrievably down.

With thanks and May God bless you.

    Hello my lenders,

I really thank God for you for having brought you into my life.

My chickens have about 1.5 weeks to mature for sale and since its raining heavy, i used some bits of cash for feed to complete roofing. i realized i have been caught offguard since i have the first instalmnt due today. i spent $250 for iron sheets only.
    ,
since as per regulations not the all $150 is releasd to the new member, i am at pains to request to reschedule the loan period or if possible return $5 i received and will resume after i sell the chicken in about 2 weeks time. pls advise. Thanks.

with the little i have gotten from the farming i have been able to sustain my family.

My beloved wife Mary has been instrumental in the project since i have no capacity to employ.
when i see her sweaty arm pits, i feel lost because of fending for the chickens.

I however need to create employment opportunities for youths in the area. i would also want to be a mentor.
