Am stephen egesa aged 29 years old, i went to school up to secondary level. while at school i participated in co curriculum activities such as athletics and physical education.when i was young i used to enjoy riding bycle,playing in the rain water, playing hide and seek games etc. when i came to the city of nairobi, i was living with my cousin where i depended on him in nearly everything.After a short time i made a decision to be independent and that is how i started my own business.

My Business

my business is to provide services to customers,i carry people and goods from one place to another a business known as "bodaboda". In a place i stay there are no public vehicles to carry passengers to the main stage which is along Thika-Nairobi super highway , therefore i take that advantage to do business. This business is flexible and reliable because i can do it at any time and also i can not miss customers who needs to travel. I use the the money to educate a child and invest.

Loan Proposal

Since my business is dealing with motorcycles, i am going to add the third one which is going to cost about ks 60,000 which is approximately 600 us dollars. If i will get a loan of ks 38,805, the extra amount i will top up from the profit i make from my business. This third new motorbike will benefit the person that i will employ and my family because the employee will be giving me ks 300 per day which totals to ks 9000 (90 us dollars)per month; while for him ,he will be remaining with the extra amount that he makes .
My overall income will increase to at least a minimum of ks 20,000( 200 us dollars) from my motorcycle that i ride, and ks 18,000 (180 us dollars) per month from my second and third motorbikes, which will total to ks 38,000 (380 us dollars )per month.

    Hallo my Friends,
    I want to thank you for the loan that you funded me.
    I was able to buy a motorcycle and employed my friend who had no job, the motorcycle was able to generate about 90 us dollars per month and this extra income i was able to educate my daughter ( little angle),i bought a new motorcycle umbrella, i bought a wall unit, i saved etc.
    Beside changing my familly's life, it also changed the life of my employee. I really thank God and Zidisha family.

    Hi,
    I am so much excited with Zidisha because beside, eradication of poverty and friendship relationship, it also enhances encouragement and motivation. Yesterday i was so much motivated with a Zidisha member called Kipruto Kiptarus who is also nicknamed as Rush a 23 years old man. From his story i found out that he started his business in 2014 may with 5 hens and a cock then later he was able to expand to two bulls and a secondhand motorcycle then after there through hard work, Zidisha , and the Favour of God he was able to improve further and now he wants to buy two plots. I wish him success.

    I want to thank zidisha community for the great support that you have given me, because the loan that I received has really changed my life positively. Since I am just about to finish my loan repayment_ (only 6 percent remaining), I will like to say that I will be faithful to my lenders even for more loans that they will lend to me. Lastly I am praying for zidisha community ,God to give you long life that is full of peace love and unity .

    Thanks be to God and zidisha family,so far i have made a great movement that is from nothing to something because my business is nourishing and the profit that i make, beside, savings and payment of school fees for my daughter i also use it to improve my standards of living. This week i have paid 10 us dollars to start making a wall unit. That is a great step in my life.

    I am fine hoping that you are also fine. My business is doing very well, the profit that I have raised in this month, I have used 70 us dollars to pay school fees for my daughter( little angel) ; she is now a happy girl.

    The motorbike i purchased has incresed my income by ks 9000 (90 us dollars) per month, the increased income i have used to pay school fees for my daughter, buy food for my family, and saved the rest.
