About Me

i am a very young talented guy and i am from a family of six that is my mother,my father,my two brothers, our last born sister and I.Currently am pursuing a degree course in english literature at the masinde muliro university and at teh same time i do have my band of singers that we do perform togather every weekend at the nakumatt restaurant in kakamega town every friday and saturday and we get paid like 30,000/0 per night and for two days that gives us 60,000/-.it is from there i developed my guitar playing talent and singing and it has enabled me to open musanyi musical instrument shop in the CBD center in kakamega town.the money i have been getting from my own band i was saving to purchase more instruments and selling them and alsoit has helped in boosting my school fees in the university.also i am now the one supporting my little sister who is now in form two high school.therfore at this junctureb i am so happy to be introduced to zidisha by my friend eldad and i know my musical instrument shop will grow big very soon because i am the only selling the instruments and because i have no enough fund i am not able to bring more stocks from nairobi and even other african instruments from remote areas of kenya, uganda, tanzania.therfore if you support me zidisha i believe i can fly just like the green eagles.thank you so much zidisha.

My Business

once again i take this golden opportunity to outline myself and why i join zidisha organiozation.Am a student at the same time a performer and at the same time i do run my african western musical instrument shop in town.i love music and so i realized now many people are evading the african indigeneous instruments and so i decided to continue making sure the african instruments are not forgotten so now i am in stored of them and i do purchase as i sell them togather with guitar, violins, drum sets, keyboard.i started this business with 50,000/- first buy selling acoustic guitars and slow by slow it grew an d expanding and i have been able to make a gross salary of 100,000/- plus even the cash i get from my performances and when i deduct some cash for what i have used to buy the parts of instruments and maintaining them my net worth profit ends upto 30,000/-.therfore i come before you zidisha to request for a loan of 300,000/- because i will use 100,000/- to buy strings instruments that is guitars both acoustics and and semi acoustics, electronics also, then another 100,000/- i will add the speakers and then 50,000/- i will use to purchase condenser microphones, wireless microphones and then the remaing 50,000/- i will add the nyatiti, litungu, isukuti, wandindi and ohangla drums and shakers to my stock because i have been havi8ng customers asking for them and sometime i do hire when there are events like drama festivals and music festivals in weddings and this loan i will be able to grow big and i believe with that it will be the journey of success in my business because at the same time i do repair some people instruments and tune for them.i therefore i appreciate zidisha for the great work and with you am going to fly at the top.thank you so much zidisha.

    Hi Arnold,
regards from an audio engineer. I wonder, what the students use these recorders for. Since the neighbor next to my retro recording studio is our districts biggest music store, feel free to ask for our experiences for mics, instruments or other equipment.

    Regards
    Sirko
