My name is Esther Ramadhani Otieno, I am married with 2 children, both are girls. I was born in a polygamous family of 15. In my mother's house, we are 7; I am the 4th born in the house. I have been helping my father in his shop and hotel since I was young. I have managed to learn a lot in the business sector. When I got married to Otieno, I desired to continue with business so as to help him care for the family. I have had experience as the manager of my father's hotel; now I believe I should own one and even grow further. I ask the lenders, through Zidisha, to help me achieve my dreams.
At the moment, I have a small chips box on a table in which I sell chips and mandazis (fried dough) to passersby opposite in Rang'ala Boys High School, adjacent to Rang'ala Girls teachers quarters. I'd love to open a tea room and also to build a small kiosk for selling the chips. I also hope to start a mobile hotel if, God willing, I go far with this project. My husband loves technology, so I hope he'll help me put cyber in the tea room too. My end game is to empower women and youths to be sustainable in whatever they do for a living. Thanks.
Than you dear lenders for enabling me to reach this far, I am now planning to add to my stock of Irish potatoes some of which I use to prepare chips and the rest i will be selling to other traders, I'll also need a larger store for storage, these will require me with $970, thank you!
