My name is Mumuni Abudu. I come from Lolobi in the Volta Region. I am married with five children. I am a business man and a farmer. I am able to support my children's education through the cocoa farming. I have about ten acres of cocoa farm. I have a vision to expand the farm in future.
I am a cocoa farmer. I do generate about 30000 cedis income annually. It is through the farming that I am able to support my children's education, currently I have one child in the University, two in the SHS and two also in the JHS.The cocoa farming is a very lucrative business in Ghana, which the government is encouraging people to engage in.
I will like to use the loan to buy a bumping machine to bump water for the spraying of my cocoa seedlings. The cost of this equipment is between Ghc2000 and 3000 Ghc.This will help to reduced pressure involved in fetching water everyday from a stream to spray the seedlings. I will be glad if Zidisha and my lenders can grant me such amount in due course.Thank you.
I have most of my dried cocoa stored down,so I will be able to sell it and use the money to pay for the loan amount. I have also made some savings which I can use to pay for the loan.
