About Me

My name is Lambon Tanko and i'm a married man with four children. I come from Nalerigu in the northern region of Ghana. I was born and brought up in a small village called Tambona. Tambona is about 10km from Nalerigu. After completing junior high school, my father couldn't help me to further my education due to ill health and financial problems. I then decided to move to the southern part of Ghana to seek for greener pastures. Finally, i settled in the southern part of Ghana, specifically in a town called Agona.

My Business

I'm into farming where i cultivate a number of crops in cash crops such as cocoa and cashew. I also grow vegetables like garden eggs, tomatoes, carrots and cabbage. It's this work that helps me to take care of family. I have been in the farming business for almost 12 years now and infact it's very lucrative. I make a lot of money from the selling of my farm produce. I have not regreted being a farmer. I therefore hope that when i'm given this loan, it will help me to increase my production.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy medicines for my little who has been admitted to the hospital. I will some to pay hospital bills. My daughter has not been able to go to school for almost two months now all because she was bitten by a poisonous snake when wsa coming back from school. Therefore i will use the loan to pay the hospital bills and buy medicines for her. I will pay back the loan with the money i get from my farm work.

Income Source

I have been saving part of the money i get from my farm work. I understand that every business faces some risk but i always make sure that i save some money i get from my farm work for future problems. The money i save is solely for unforeseen situation that might occur in the line of ny work. So provisions have been made to take care of any risk that might come up.

I'm really sad to inform my lenders that i lost my daughter and that's the reason why I've not been able to repay my loan on time. I hope to start repayment soon. Thank you.
