About Me

My name is Sita Mahamud. I am a very simple and quiet boy. I believe in the principles of self-reliance instead of relying on others. This pushed me early to my talent job. It took me three years to learn carpentry, which I enjoyed working with. I worked all the days except Sunday, when I normally rest. I have one apprentice who helps me a lot. l now have opened my own shop. We make furniture, tables and chairs.

My Business

As I said earlier on, carpentry keeps the family alive always. I would not want such to occur to my younger ones. So I work hard; do not joke with my profession of carpentry. We produce furniture, both leather and cloth ones. We also make tables and chairs for students and people who want to decorate their living rooms. Students needing tables and chairs [are] so common in my town. A set of furniture costs 500 to 600 Ghanaian cedis (USD $113-136).

want to buy some materials used for making or producing furniture. I will buy six pieces of wooden materials of which one cost is equivalent to $6 . I will also buy plywood , that's 10 pieces of which one is equivalent to$5 . I will buy one new sewing machine which cost about $104. The rest will be used to buy furniture cloth and ledder for producing furniture. This will increase the profit as compare to first. The profit will increase about $20 per furniture produced
