About Me

My name is Sita Mahamud. I am a very simple and quiet boy. I believe in the principles of self-reliance instead of relying on others. This pushed me early to my talent job. It took me three years to learn carpentry, which I enjoyed working with. I worked all the days except Sunday, when I normally rest. I have one apprentice who helps me a lot. l now have opened my own shop. We make furniture, tables and chairs.

My Business

As I said earlier on, carpentry keeps the family alive always. I would not want such to occur to my younger ones. So I work hard; do not joke with my profession of carpentry. We produce furniture, both leather and cloth ones. We also make tables and chairs for students and people who want to decorate their living rooms. Students needing tables and chairs [are] so common in my town. A set of furniture costs 500 to 600 Ghanaian cedis (USD $113-136).

Loan Proposal

I will use this amount to buy Wood, plywood, tools and other items needed to make or produced furniture , table and chairs. produce enough furniture for customersin large quantities. a profit of 300 to 450 Ghana CEDI's . especially my younger ones in school. One set of furniture cost about 1000 or 900 Ghana CEDI's. The workmanship and the total amount invested in producing one set is only about 500 or 600 Ghana CEDI's. The rest is the profit..
