About Me

I am Patricia Mupa Ballo. A single parent and a mother of two girls. i live in mshomoroni in Mombasa. i was born in Kilifi and raised in Kilifi in a family of five kids being the third born. i schooled in Lari secondary in Nyeri and went to Kenya revenue authority training institute. i did secretarial and book keeping course. I started my business in order to earn a living and make ends meet. i am employed but i still do not get enough because i need to grow in life. with my earnings i pay rent, i do shopping, i buy mens shirt & t-shirt at a wholesale price and sell retail as well as pay my kids school fees. Am really trying my best to provide good education to my kids. though its very challenging being single but i thank God for this far.

My Business

To my lenders from Zidisha, I kindly wish you all the best in your endeavours. I sincerely continue to appreciate you for all the endless support you have given me, my children and above all my business. My business at the moment is at a level which without you I couldn’t make to attained. With due respect, I would like you to consider me on my fifth loan application so that I can further expand my business and improve it. We are very happy and pleased to be associated with you. God bless you....

I kindly hope that my loan will be fully funded. Thanks again all lenders &the entire zidisha team.Yo have been a help to many. Be blessed.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, Words can never be enough to explain my appreciation I have finally cleared my second loan and the profit i will use to pay school fess the whole of this year of my daughter who will join school second term when she will be 3 years. I wish to express my gratitude to Zidisha family for allowing me to join this amazing group. I spent the money from the loan to buy kitenge material and khanga (leso) and this increased my sales significantly.

I am now all set to apply for a third loan which I believe will take my business to even greater heights. I f i get this loan i will still buy Khanga (leso) and vitenge material as the demand here is very high because its our tradition here women wrap khanga (leso) around their waist when at home doing house chores or even in funerals & weddings.

I kindly hope that my loan will be fully funded. Thanks again all lenders &the entire zidisha team.Yo have been a help to many. Be blessed.

I spoke with Patricia, she said her business is not doing well, but promised to resume paying the loan very soon, I advised her to adjust her weekly payments to an amount she can afford to pay for now
