About Me

I am the first born in a family of three. Living in Nairobi then we had difficult time growing up as we lost our parents when I was only 13. My siblings and I were taken in by close relatives who took us to school. It was not all smooth there but we had to persevere in order to get our basic needs. I managed to go up to the university level but have never gotten a job. This motivated me to look for a business thus my husband borrowed a loan from his self help group to help me start a food store. I have one four year old daughter who is yet to discover what she would like to be in future. I love playing hockey and making new friends.

My Business

I have a small shop in Nakuru where by it entails a food store mainly cereals although I sell other stuffs like toiletries, soft drinks, and stationaries. These goods are important because they are daily basic needs that must be used. The profits I obtain from the shop are used to pay rent, school fees and family investments.Being in a slum where most people live in abject poverty, I have really struggled to keep the business to thrive because most people come to lend me goods promising to pay later but they don't. Trying to differentiate loyal customers who can lend and pay back has proved to be a challenge. This has lead to my stock deteriorating.

Loan Proposal

I would like to purchase a computer or laptop to complement my photocopy machine because most of my customers are now asking for computer services like typing of exam papers, Report cards, creation of wedding cards, invitation cards, bronchures, posters and eulogy booklets.

Hi Zidisha.... For the longest time I have been waiting for you to refund my security fee which was deducted when I took my last loan but you haven't done that. Please is it possible for it to be refunded or not. Because I have always paid back your money on time please pay mine. Thank you

The helped me in purchasing a photocopy machine which I use on a daily basis to produce copies of documents for my customers. The sales I have made from it have helped me to pay school fees for my daughter and electricity without any difficulties. This machine has increased my customers and sales too thus securing a future for my family. Its profits have enabled me to divide family needs without burdening a part of the business. I am very greatful to you my lenders for giving me this awesome opportunity to depend on myself.

I would like to buy a photocopier for my small shop. This will help me raise profits as i will be taking care of photocopy needs of the schools and people living around me. There is no photocopy near here. I am not sure if my choice of words will be really able to express what I feel inside of me. I would have wished to thank you individually but I am not able. But on this platform i would like you to know that I am thankful for your generous contributions towards raising my loan. My God bless each one of you abundantly with good health and financially so that you may continue helping many more people. Thank you alot

The past loan of kshs.14058 that you gave me was of great help. I used it to add stock to my shop. I bought 50kgs of rice@4200, 50kgs of sugar@3860, a box of washing bar soap1390, abox of assorted washing powder soap@1000, a box of tissue paper@600, a box of spaghetti@600, 20 litres of liquid@2600,all these are in Kenya shillings. The profit I got from all these items I used to pay back the loan and maintaining the shop. The remaining profit I added to my savings so as to be able to buy a plot of land by the end of this year.

When angels are being counted my lenders should not miss in that list. I wouldn't be able to make the stride that I have made in business if it weren't for you guys. May God continue to prolong your life and bless you financially and health wise so that you may continue to be a blessing to me and others who are financially challenged. The money I got was a sum of $140.80 which is Kshs. 14080. I used it to buy 20litres of liquid oil, 40kg of rice, 40kg of sugar, 20kg of maize flour,10kg of beans,10kg of greengrams. This will be of great help as my food stock has increased. Thank you so much

My previous loan i used to buy a refridgerator which has helped me in preserving most items that are served while cold. Being in a slum where most people live in abject poverty, I have really struggled to keep the business to thrive because most people come to lend me goods promising to pay later but they don't. Trying to differentiate loyal customers who can lend and pay back has proved to be a challenge. This has lead to my stock deteriorating. Thus this next loan I would like to increase my stock. Thank you.

It was a great idea to my business when I purchased a refrigerator. Although the fridge didn't give me much profit but the items I put in it did. There for the profits I got most of it I used to pay the loan and thus causing a deterioration in my stock. This next loan I would like to add stock so as to stabilize my shop again.

I plan to buy a refrigerator for my shop. This was triggered when i realised that i was losing my customers who needed cold drinks. This will help me to increase my sales and also storage of my food in the house. I am really greatful for this opportunity that you have given me. Thanks a lot.

My lenders, I may not know you in person but just know that the efforts that you make to provide the money for my loan is really appreciated. May your philanthropic hearts grow wider that you may help more people. You have enabled me to use the Kshs.5040 to expand my shop by buying plastic items to sell. Once again I am greatful.

The previous loan helped me to purchase maize flour and other cereals. Although business had a lot of ups and downs due to the election period in kenya , I managed to make some profits that has made me stay on this line of business. I would like to buy a photocopier to introduce in my shop. Although it will take sometime to reach that credit limit, the one I will get this time I will add soft drinks like soda, afia, minute maid and quencher juices. This will help me get profits that will help me raise the living standards of my family and I. Thank you in advance
