About Me

My name is Roger Asamoah Brobbey. I was born in Jachie, Ashanti region of Ghana. Jachie is a town along the Lake Bosomtwe the only natural lake in Ghana and a very popular recreational area in Ashanti region and Ghana. The main activity in my town is fishing for the lake is very helpful to my people but farming and tourism are also not left behind. I was born in a family of ten and I am the seventh born.

I went for primary, secondary, and tertiary school and then started a petty trading business in Kumasi. After some few years in this business, I was able to raise about $670 and decided to buy tools and equipment to start something I liked doing most back on campus - barbering (Hair cut).

My Business

I am currently running a barbering shop in Kumasi near the Polytechnic Campus. I chose the location because there are a lot of male students in this institution who are always looking to shave their hair regularly. The services offered include haircut, hair dye, and other shaving services. I like my business because it is a routine business where people shave their hairs between 1 and 2 weeks’ interval and this the demand for the service higher.

I make an average gross revenue of $460 and $290 averagely as my net revenue monthly. My expenditure includes electricity bill, rent, and other indirect expenses associated with this business.

Loan Proposal

I WILL USE 50% OF THE LOAN AMOUNT APPROXIMATELY $850 TO BUY NEW MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO KEEP MY BARBERING SHOP STANDARDIZED ESPECIALLY NOW THAT I HAVE TWO MORE HANDS HELPING ME.

I HAVE STARTED SELLING ITEMS LIKE PERFUME, HAIR CREAM AND SOME FEW OTHER PRODUCTS TO MY CUSTOMERS AND I WILL USE PART OF THE LOAN TO KEEP THAT BUSINESS.

I WILL USE THE REST OF THE MONEY TO RE-STOCK MY MOBILE PHONE ACCESSORIES SHOP CREATED THROUGH ZIDISHA WITH MY PREVIOUS LOAN.
THIS PHONE ACCESSORIES BUSINESS HAVE REALLY BEEN BENEFICIAL TO ME AND I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT AND EXPAND WITH TIME.

THIS LOAN WHEN GRANTED WILL HELP ME KEEP MY DREAM OF BEING AND ENTREPRENEUR THROUGH ZIDISHA AND BECOME SUPPORTIVE TO OTHERS.
