About Me

i am a trained chef but a self taught business person. cooking has always been a passion and though i am employed in a catering company, i started a side business of lunch delivery just so as to earn extra income and also to keep my passion alive.
beside cooking and lunch delivery, i involve myself with outside catering at events. both corporate and private events.
a catering business needs equipment which are not quite cheap so my earnings are re invested by purchasing these items one after another. i also buy food stuff and ingredients

My Business

i run a lunch delivery business. you can never go wrong with food. the demand is high as so many people work far from home and mostly food is expensive and places to eat are far. i decided on this as you cut all costs and strains for them by delivering packed lunch for them. of course there is competition but my packaging and on time delivery makes the difference. there is risk of food going bad where there are no purchases. i sale a container of packed lunch at usd 2. in a day, i do upto 30 tins and after all costs cut, i get a profit of about usd. 10 a day

Loan Proposal

zidisha has helped my business grow by branding. now i need a motorbike to help transport my lunch faster to my clients so that they can get the food on time and while still warm. thus, i am asking for a loan to top up and buy a motorbike to help me in my lunch delivery business.
it is quite hectic to get lunch delivered on time considering this is to different offices which are at different places and using public transport complicates it further because of the traffic congestion and stopping every minute to pick or drop a passanger

The covid situation has made everything tricky. I’m on half salary and trying to manage things.
I’m adjusting to a manageable amount for now but when things get back to normal or become better, I will readjust to a higher amount.

Covid has affected so much. I’m on very low salary but would gladly want to pay up often so that I’m reducing my amount.

If I manage more as time goes by and things get better, then I will adjust my payment.

i am rescheduling my loan because business has not yet picked very well yet. i am however positive that it shall pick up soon and once it does, there shall be enough cash to pay more then i can reschedule again to a higher amount. so far there is business yes but not as much so for the time being i am opting for a lower amount as i plan ahead

    Hi Stella,
You've got a great plan in place! Hopefully you'll be able to increase your lunch deliveries in your current buildings so that you can spend less time driving and still increase your orders!

business has picked up and now i am able to repay 4000 per week till i finish my repayment. earlier on, i was paying very little as there was no cash to pay as business was low hence i could only re invest in the business and not keep any extra cent.
right now i am in a position to pay more and i am hopeful that it goes on the same way till i finish repaying this loan fully
