  Ps. If you are unable to pay you should always provide the lenders with an occasional update so they know you didn’t forget that you have a loan.

the installments are high compared to what am capable of repaying on time.I therefore had to reduce the installments to the amount I can afford.

  If I understand the following link correctly it’s also allowed to pay less if you don’t have the money.

  But you should always pay something on the scheduled dates. This is important because of your on-time repayment score. If that’s high then it’s easier for you to get your next loan.
  
  And if that isn’t possible then post a comment with an explanation on the scheduled date so a lender sees that your intention is still good.
