About Me

My name is Nancy Wachira, 31 years of age working and living in Nairobi, Kenya.
I am the first born of a family of five girls and a boy. In Dec 2004, I finished my secondary school education where I attained a B- and in 2005 I started helping (at a fee) my uncle as a messenger in his law firm until 2007 where I joined college for computer packages. Thereafter, I secured a job as a cashier in a pharmaceutical company and later in 2011 left for my diploma in Information Technology. Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate bachelors degree in Human resource management at the University Of Nairobi.

In my journey towards goal achievement I have experienced ups and downs but I have always emerged successful.

I am an ambitious and hard working lady with a mission of getting returns for my input and actualizing my dreams. My focus in joining Zidisha is to grow my business and my life in general as well as see the organization expand through a beneficial relationship.

I am currently working as an online freelancer as well as part time research finding with a data collection research company. I have encountered challenges in my but I have turned them into opportunities.

I come from a cultural background of men and women living together as a family with respect to each other. Our land is fertile for cash crop farming as well as dairy farming.
I spend my free time mostly reading. I like swimming and watching movies.

My Business

My work entail online freelancing where I do academic writing, transcription as well as online research. This involve working for people from other countries who feel they do not have enough to research on some work or some who need to have some audio decoded into writing. This entails online communication and transactions such as payments.
It is through this job that i have been able to take care of my upkeep as well as pay for my school fees.
I choose this kind of work because of its flexibility and returns. The job is not very demanding and the network to having it done is good. The yields from it are relatively good and it is cost effective in the sense that I do not need to rent a separate space to have it done. It is through it that I am where i am today and I am hoping to expand it further though the loan i am requesting from you.

Loan Proposal

I intend to use the amount requested to pay part of my university degree education .This will reduce the burden of paying the whole amount at once.
