About Me

My names are David Muiru Njuguna, born in Kinangop, which is in South Kinangop in Kenya. I completed my secondary education and did a diploma course in Video Production.

My Business

I am a part-time DJ and I also run a photography business where I print photos from my studio. Most of the time I go out in the field for events such as burial ceremonies, birthday parties, homecoming parties, weddings, and get-together events. I take the photos during these events and sell the same at a cost of USD 0.5 per photo after printing them.

I make between USD $15- $25 daily, but on good days I can make up to USD $40. I would wish to expand and concentrate with field events, as this is where a large market segment lies. In the future, I would like to have a modern photo studio dealing with all aspects of digital photography. Proceeds from my business go towards family upkeep.

I also have great interest in music and I have seen a market gap in that, when I go out for functions, there is great need for a public address system which is currently not there. As a person with DJ skills, I see this as an opportunity and would thus wish to venture into the same market.

Loan Proposal

Thank you for this opportunity. My second loan was very successful and it did positively change my business. I want now to purchase video production kit, namely Computer, accessories and software. This will go longway in ensuring that i penetrate in a market that already has a big gap. Currently here there are no such services and many customers have been asking for the same. I will purchase a computer worthUSD 400 and have extra USD 500 towards accessories and associated software. I have a video recorder and the skills necessary to see this project succeed.

About Me

My names are David Njuguna, Born in Kinangop which is in South Kinangop in Kenya. I completed my secondary education and did a diploma course in Video Production. This course is meant to prepare one for self employment as there not many institutions that engage in such that one can be employed in. My love for music is strong, I started at tender age in church services where I could just sing as long as I had the audience.
