My Business

my business is a maize meal factory and a school. i run this two things here in mtwapa in mikanjuni village.the services that am giving to the community first is quality education to the kids. second is the maize meal factory and i give a service to the people within and around mikanjuini village area.the services that o give to the people in education has been really welcomed by the people here in mtwapa mikanjuni and am getting new students every day from the parents and this is because of the proper education that am giving to people and into the maize meal factory am getting more clients everyday since the factory is the only one within and near to them so due of this all the people within this village they are taking their maize to my factory for grounding my clients prefer coming to e because my prices are very fair to all the people. this business is profitable because the school only gives me a good profit per month since my school fees is five hundred shillings per students so with the number of the students that i have i therefore getting reasonable profit and the maize meal is also giving me a good income. but since i need more classes to build this is why am now applying for this loan from zidisha so that when given this loan i will add with the amount of money that i had been saving so that i can build one class room which will made me accommodate more students and get more income. my monthly running cost is Kenya shillings 45,000 and my monthly sales revenues is Kenya shillings 85,000 which is giving me with a monthly profit of Kenya shillings 40,000 . and with this profit i can therefore repay this loan that am applying to zidisha

Loan Proposal

with this loan i will use it first to expand one classroom into my school so that i can accommodate more students into my school. i will add with my little money that i had so far because by doing this the students will be able to be sitting very comfortable in the classroom. and i will use some amount into this loan to buy more stock of maize flour into my maize miller factory so that i can be able to ground more maize flour and sell more to my clients where i will be selling more and earn more interest.

hi lenders i would like to inform you that for the last couple of days we have been in contact with Eric Haro Kai.Eric really understand that he is far behind on loan repayment and requested to reschedule the loan to January 2014 which was really impossible. After explaining to him and also giving him an option to reduce the loan repayment size he insisted he will be very comfortable paying the amount on January though his business has been so down,he will be getting funds from other sources come January.
Before then,he will try on how he will manage and pay on any amount.
I ope these message from Eric Kai finds you well and i will also keep in touch with him till he will be on track in repayments
    Thank you.

    Dear Lenders,

my name is Roberta Zenere and I am a Kenya Country Liaison Intern at Zidisha. Within this role, I am coordinating the Zidisha's MPESA team, responsible for processing loan repayments and disbursements.

Today, while reviewing our accounts, I noticed that the repayment of 49.09 USD (4,150 KES) posted on March, 19 in the repayment schedule of Mr Kai was entered by mistake. This means that, upon removal of one of the two transactions, the amount that had been credited to your lender account will be reversed and will reduce your available balances accordingly.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. Please, let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Best regards,

    Roberta
    Zidisha Team

Dear Eric, thank you for your prompt repayments that I can now lend to others! How are your pupils doing? I am a teacher too. We just presented a big music program with students aged 5-11 and now we have a week's holiday. I hope you and your family and students are doing well.

Congratulations on getting your loan. I applaud your hard work and initiative to better you and your family's situation, as well as the lives of the children in the community. As a former school teacher, myself, I know how important education can be. It was an early teacher that gave me my first start. You are truely giving the gift that keeps on giving -- education and understanding. I will be following your progress with great interest. You have my best wishes for continued great success.

If you think you can -- You Can!
