About Me

I am a very jovial person with many friends. I come from a very small family of four. My mum has just me and my big brother, Samuel Shehi as children. I love watching Indian movies on my leisure time.I also have many friends who keep me company in business daily. I am the lastborn to my mother so I have to see her daily either by sharing lunch or breakfast together. I live very close to my mother unlike my brother Shehi who I only meet when at Mazeras shopping centre. He is very supportive of me.

My Business

I had always have this great passion for a driver's job. I placed all my success in life on getting a driver's position in a transport company. Despite not getting a driver's job, I have not let that drag me down. I did many unskilled jobs for a long time. To my disadvantage, these jobs do not pay well enough so I had to live with low standards of living and lack of work for long periods. As a result, I tried my hand in business. I have been in several small businesses: Charcoal selling, Cassava frying & Potato frying. Of all, I have had much success in charcoal selling due to high demand of the commodity in my area.

Loan Proposal

I need to get a profit from the wood fuel business too. It is one of the growing businesses. I plan to bring in a pick up load of wood fuel and another for charcoal. Woodfuel will require some KES 40,000 while charcoal will require another KES 35,000. I had let go this business for the electricals but now I have realised that I need to go back and make a better profit. I know I will make it. Thanks.

I received my loan of KES 71,800. I'm very grateful for your support. I'll keep buying additional wood fuel as customers demand rises.

    Thanks.

I spent the last four months on the electrical supplies business. It has been rewarding. I made a good profit and I was able to pay back my loan quite fast. Thank you lenders for your continued support. Shortly, I will go into wood fuel business. Most business in cafes and small food joints need affordable fuel to prepare ( mostly cereals) for their customers. This is a business I can get a profit into too.

I have had much success with my earlier loan. I sold most my motocycle spares promptly and even went into selling electriccal supplies. I hope success will follow me all through into this new addition to my business. Thank you for the support.

        Hi John,
Thanks for your message! Sadly, no sun or warm weather in the Netherlands at the moment, we've only got snow. After six years, I'm finally in good health again. I hope that you are in good health as well and that your business continues to do great!

    Lenders,
Support this loan to full funding. It has stuck at 78% for too long now. I have full confidence in his ability. I know him personally because he is my little brother.

    Regards,
    Shehi.

I have big plans in my business this year. I will expand into three more locations by taking advantage of existing traders who can sell charcoal on my behalf for a small commission. I believe selling from multiply stores at no additional rent will work to my benefit compared to currently where I sell one point and have to take to distant customers thus cutting my operating time. By March 2014, I need to be able to purchase a half truck load of charcoal for selling. Despite the funding of loan being too slow... I choose to remain hopeful...till I make it!
