Dear lenders, I am very grateful to Zidisha for helping me to reach my goal of buying a baking oven which is faster than the traditional stove that I have been using. It will help me to make more cakes in a shorter time which will increase the profits which will go a long way in helping the needy people in the community that I work with.

To all my lenders, Many thanks for the loan assistance, I will buy 1,233 Kg of yellow beans @ Usd 0.803/kg which will cost about Usd 990. The seling price of 1,233kg @ Usd1.14/kg = Usd1,405.62. This gives a profit of Usd 415.62 per each delivery . With a minimum of 2 deliveries per month, will enable me service the loan, pay overheads, bills and save. This loan will be the begining of my journey up the ladder. I now have the ability to keep my order to supply to the local supermarket. With time I will be able to service the order that stands at 50,000kg per month because Rome was not built in one day. Thank you for giving me the oppourtunity to make my ends meet. Again I thank you.

In many campgrounds in Canada, there is concern about food leftovers attracting animals which could potentially be dangerous, and which might become too used to scavenging from campgrounds to survive as a healthy wild animal, so there are many variants on the "bear-safe" garbage can. For the first time I saw a specifically set up place to dump water after using it to wash dishes, to keep things sanitary and again, to reduce attractants to animals. In a lot of campgrounds it's just expected that you will find a drain somewhere - in the wash block or under a water tap, perhaps, but at this second campsite in a national park, there is no modern plumbing, it's a fairly new park in a fairly remote area, and they clearly thought about the dishwater problem and asked actual campers what to do about it. This park is amazing, in an area that was broken up by ranches and farms about a hundred and ten years ago, and then put back together again as it's a tough place to raise food profitably. (It's fairly dry, far away from markets, and then it gets very very cold in the winter.) I really liked being able to see what this land would have looked like before being settled by farmers. It's not exactly like it would have been, of course, because it's really impossible to recreate the past, but I felt like I was getting a fairly accurate impression of wild prairie badlands.

Hello! I'm glad that you're almost completed your office building. I went on holiday for the first two weeks of August, and took some photos that you might be interested in. The first one that I think I am attaching right now, is of a campsite where the managers created privacy for the sites by mounding earth and growing tall grass on the mounds between the tent/RV sites. Also I include a photo of the shower building, which I was surprised to discover was solar heated. And the view across a little lake a short walk from this campground.comment imagecomment imagecomment image

This is my second loan from Zidisha. The first loan went a long way in assisting me to add new items in my boutique and salon which I previously did not have. This included shoes, hair accessories and hair chemicals. My profits shot up and I was able to repay my loan earlier than anticipated. With my increased earnings, I also joined a group for youthful women in development which we discuss development issues. Thank you so much lenders. Mercy.

Hi there dear lenders. I hope this finds you well as I happily report to you after having received my full loan of KES. 50,779. A big thank you to you, dear lenders. I am very very greatful and quite happy, intending to begin my projects as soon as I return to the city. I came to visit my grandmother in my village home in Busia Kenya, as renovations of the premises for the photocopy business are already underway. I pray that God bless you for your utter generosity. Below is a photo of my son enjoying a game of soccer in the village. I will be sure to update you on my purchases and work, as we move forward to bettering our own and other's lives. Be blessed and thank you once more.comment image

Hi zidisha team, I hp you are all well. Just to update you on my fencing project. As I had briefed you about how part of the loan was spent on Samuel's graduation, The remaining part is currently being utilized on the fencing materials which i must say is going on well though still way behind due to the limited cash I remained with . As I still continue paying for the Loan, I will also continue with the project as I can.Thank you very much for being with me on this. Regards Benardcomment image
