    Hello again, Danson.

This is a reminder that each borrower on his/her second or later loan is required to post a photo of himself or herself, at the location for which the loan is requested. The photo must show the borrower's entire face, and the photo cannot be blurry.

For a first loan, a borrower is permitted to have no photo, or another photo
other than himself/herself, posted at the top of the profile page; however,
not if it violates any of the platform's policies, including but not limited to being a copyrighted professional photo for which the borrower (a) does not hold the copyright or (b) does not have written permission from the copyright holder to use, or (c) cannot prove that it is a free-use image which anyone would be allowed to use anywhere.

Please remove the photo of Ben Carson and replace it with a photo of yourself. Failure to comply with the acceptable-use photo policy may result in account closure.

If you encounter any technical difficulties, please click on the HELP link in your account and send in a SUPPORT TICKET. Thank you.

    Hello, Danson.

All borrowers on their second or later loan are required to post a photo of oneself, at the location for which the loan is requested, and clearly showing the borrower's entire face, not just a profile (side view) of the face, and not blurry. (The Staff is small and, therefore, violations are not always noticed quickly; however, as soon as noticed, someone on staff would take appropriate action.

For a first loan, a borrower is permitted to have no photo or another photo
other than himself/herself posted at the top of the profile page; however, not
if it violates any of the platform's policies, including but not limited to being a copyrighted professional photo for which the borrower (a) does not hold the copyright or (b) does not have written permission from the copyright holder to use, or (c) cannot prove that it is a free-use image which anyone would be allowed to use anywhere.

Please remove the photo of Ben Carson and replace it with a photo of yourself.

    Thank you.

I am not a Ben Carson fan. If you use an Obama photo, we can talk :)

And the point of interjecting your politics here that have absolutely nothing to do with his loan is what?

I think Jane was being light-hearted and joking, Julie.
Also, you mentioned your politics before Jane mentioned hers.
(Obviously, you lean Republican and Jane leans Democrat.)

Just FYI, too... if memory serves, I think political comments/discussions (which tend to get heated sometimes) are not allowed by the Director.
I think if noticed by her, those may get edited or removed (from Discussion pages and the Forum). I don't think your or Jane's comments here on this page, though, are objectionable. However, it's not my call, so if those are noticed and objected to, just be aware that those may get edited or removed by the Director.

Incorrect. Mine were directly related to the lender. Hers were nothing but interjecting her personal politics onto a lender's page. They are not comparable and hers and definitely objectionable. Or is it indeed okay for me to "jokingly" post political comments that have nothing to do with lenders' pages on their pages? If so, I'm happy to add my opinion that has nothing to do with their loans on their pages.

Julie, I respectfully disagree and believe it is you who are incorrect in your analysis.

            Yes, your comment was directly related to the lender;
you did tell him he ought to use his own photo. That's good.
But you also interjected your politics, announcing to everyone that you like Ben Carson (and probably are a Republican).

I personally don't think it's "bad" that Jane followed suit and let everyone know that she doesn't like Ben Carson (and probably is a Democrat).

The borrower's posting a photo of Ben Carson elicited an
"I like him" from you, and an "I don't like him" from Jane.
There is no difference. You could have simply said to the borrower: "I think you ought to use your own photo for
your profile" instead of interjecting your politics into it.
Both you and Jane have done that.

I personally don't mind, but the Director (Julia Kurnia) might.
If she does, she will edit or delete the comments.
