My name is Kennedy Kemboi , 28 years old and a graduate of Rift valley institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) where I studied a diploma course in Information Technology. I am a fourth born in a family of seven and I reside in Kiamunyi- outskirts of Nakuru town with my family.
To support my self and my family, I recently established a cyber cafe in Nakuru town where I offer internet services, printing and photocopying. So far the business is good and would like to expand- in order to reach more customers.
I love football and I watch a lot of reviews and matches during my free time.
I ran a cyber cafe in Nakuru town- Uchumi business centre along biashara street. I offer mainly internet services, printing and photocopy services. This is where I spend most of my time- assisted by a cousin. The business is good and has been growing despite the limited number of computers in the room
All the services I offer supplement each other and have been a success for me. Most revenue come from the internet services and have enabled me support my sibling who are in school as well as my aging parents.
I would like to expand by adding more computers in the room which will help me improve profits and meet customer demands.
My customer base has been improving especially during this season where most students are on holiday. This often force some of my loyal customers to queue waiting to access internet services. Together with my savings, I will use the $100 to purchase one new desktop computer.
This will help me serve the customers better, improve on profits, pay the loan with ease and save more for other improvements and projects.
