About Me

I was brought up from a family of 8 , me 5 born. Raising my school fees was a problem. I went through a lot from primary to university level. In other occasion I got bursary for my education. I completed school no job. I got married in an abusive home. Being beaten and thrown out occasionally. I made the LORD to be my friend finally. I an usher in my church the ministry of repentance. I am also born again. I also have a passion of helping the needy, widows and orphans. Most of the time I share what I have with them.
I sometime spent my time in my small farm. I was enable to apply for loan early cause I was busy planting food crop for my family, which I was doing manually.

My Business

I sell eggs and do a little farming.
In my home town, there is market for eggs, meat, milk and vegetables. Most of farm produce are transported from 300-400 kilometers for sell, this include eggs, broilers and vegetables.
I will be able to get ready market for mine. This will enable me to even pay school fees and improve production or re- investment.
The cost of keeping is US 1000. After 2 months I will be able to get a profit of 200US dol. There's ready market. I am also located next to the headquarters of my county, and a Kenya school if government.
I like keeping poultry because I can get everyday to keep my family and pay school.
My first born son wants to be a teacher. My second born son wants to be a doctor. He is doing well in school.
I wish I can improve my production so that I will be able to save money for his future education. Since its expensive to put him there.

    Hello, Catherine Chebii,

For information about what the Discussion page is for--(it's *not* for asking the Staff for help)--and to learn the correct place to ask the Staff for help, please read: www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...
    [forum-thread/1550#comment-5595]

Also, please don't confuse lenders with Zidisha Staff.
Although some members of the Staff also are lenders, most lenders are *not* on the Staff. Lenders contribute money to help fund loans. Zidisha Staff handles all of the administrative functions.

Additionally, please delete the images of your Id. Card from this *public* page. For your own protection, please never ever post any sensitive information onto this or any other public page! Anytime an image of your Id. Card is required by Zidisha Staff, a special Id-Upload button would appear on your Dashboard, which would send that image to a behind-the-scenes screen that only the Staff can see.

Please do not reply to me here, as I won't be notified of your reply.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Laurie
    Zidisha Team

      Dear Catherine

You should reduce the size of your photo before uploading. This site doesn’t support large photos.

I downloaded zidisha from google play store. Only to find a message that I have been funded fully to the tune of 50000/ksh. I don't know who did that.

Because it’s your first loan you will have to pay a one time membership fee. This is deducted from your current loan. More info about this can be found on the Borrowers FAQ (www.zidisha.org/faq#borrowe...)

You can find an overview with the credit limit calculations on your “your credit limit” page. (www.zidisha.org/current-credit).

If this was a mistake then please read the remaining borrowers FAQ and cancel the loan by following the instructions on your dashboard (www.zidisha.org/borrower/da...) Or if this isn’t possible anymore then contact support to ask for an MLF refund.

Ps. This is a place to communicate with lenders. If you need help from Zidisha staff about your account then you should always create a support ticket using the help menu (www.zidisha.org/borrower/help).

      Kind regards,
      Joost
