I come from Nakuru/Nyahururu I concentrate in farming and the proceeds are used for home improvement and payinng for education fees for my two grand children who live with me.The farming business has bee doing fine but at the moment things are not good but we hope for better tommorow
My Business
I am farmer I rear dairy cattle, currently I have three cows and 1 calf that is about to mature, I grow crops like Cabbages, Potatoes, Kales and tomatoes, in our 2 acres plus other 2 acres that I rent, which produce about 120 bags per year that is 360000 per year , wheat two acres which produce 100 bags per season which I sell 3500 per bag that is a total of 350000 per year. I also keep dairy cows which produce 30 litres per day @ 32 per liter that is 27000 per month and about 300000 per year so the total annual income is about 100000 per year. I use the amount to pay for my bills boost my business and buying fodder for my cows.
Loan Proposal
I first thank my dear lenders for the past five years together. You have stood with me and I will not disappoint you lenders. With this loan, I am now asking you to fund my new project which entails buying of two new hi breed dairy cows. In my previous loan I have been having two dairy cows, one newly bought having sadly seen Bahati die due to lack of calcium according to Veterinary officer though I had tried my best, I did replace the same with Fresian breed but the production of milk is still low. I do want to replace my Dairy cows with High breed Dairy now going for USD 1000. I will buy two and since from your previous loans I have constructed a good shed and again I have made enough research to see that I will be able to handle the new breed. With this two additions I am forecasting my monthly output to be about 80kgs per day and this will take me a higher level. My experience has allowed me to gain alot of skills in Dairy farming and am looking forward for an improved livelihood as well as capability to repay this loan. I am therefore seeing proper utilization of approximate USD 2000 which will go towards my project and the remaining amount will go towards catering for other logistics like transport.
