About Me

I am Priscilla Mensah, born in Accra, Ghana, and hail from the Eastern Region of Ghana, a country in West Africa with hospitality as the hallmark of its citizens. I am the first of 3 children of my mum. I had a very great childhood with my dear dad by my side until I lost him in my final year in secondary school. I have always loved cooking and have the flair for anything culinary. At an early age, it had always been my dream to own a restaurant and in March 2015, I started a restaurant as a joint partner and by God's grace, I have been able to start ABK's Eat-In on my own.

My Business

ABK's Eat-In is a company that runs culinary services for its clients. It started operation on 11th October, 2017 and serves only local Ghanaian dishes at the moment. It is our vision to be a restaurant and employer of choice in our country. We also plan on adding several continental dishes to our menu and so our profits are reinvested back into the business for growth. At the moment, our place is quite small and it is on our plan to get a bigger place with more serenity so customers can feel at home and we hope Zidisha can support us to achieve this goal.

Loan Proposal

I’ll be using the funds to top up mine to procure more food stuff for my growing customer base. I am into the supply of yam tubers to several food retailers and restaurants and I’m trying to add other raw food stuff like beans and cocoyam because the demand for them keeps increasing.
