About Me

My name is Cherotich Mercy. I am the second born in a family of five. I grew up in a village called ndanai, bomet county. This is a village where young girls could be circumsised and get married at there younger age. I thank God for my mother who liked education alot and she used to talk to us about how life is all about. Life was so hard but i overcame it by being patient at all times. I cleared my secondary level and joinKabarak University where i persue Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting option. I like business alot and i started by selling shoes to my friends. After i cleared my degree i started supplying stakes to the tea factories at home. What i like about myself is that i dont give up even if the situations are unbearable. Am working hard so as to enable my children to live a better life and also to help needy and capable students in my village.

My Business

I supply stakes to kobel tea factory at bomet county. They are in high demand in the factory because the factory will never stop manufacturing tea leaves. i chose this kind of business because its probability to run at a loss is very low. Sometimes when there is alot of rain i spend more on transport costs but its not a big problem to me as such. Part of my profit goes to my church development, expand my business and help my siblings pay part of their school fees.

Loan Proposal

The funds will help me expand my business by purchasing six more stakes which will give a profit of ksh. 2679 per week. it will alsop help my customers to sell me more stakes which will help them also solve ther problems for example pay school fees, buy food and much more. each stake cost ksh. 1500 and its selling price is 1800.

    Dear lenders,
I do not have a specific shop since I do my business online. I have uploaded a photo of me with some few items I am selling. My business is very genuine. I also have a page for my marketing. Attached is the link

I will consider putting a shop when I have enough capital for renting and buying reasonable stock.
    I will appreciate your consideration.

I was introduced by a friend to take zidisha loan. At first, I thought it was fake online thing. But I tried it anyway. I was given 8000 and from there I began my business of supplying stakes to the factory. I have grown since then and expanded my business. I began selling handbags online and it is picking so well. I am so grateful to zidisha community. My loan will help me grow more. Despite the pandemic outbreak, I am still pressing on. I will use the loan to restock my online business. It is well picking because the economy is picking as well.

    Hello lenders,
Thank you for finding me the last time I applied for a loan. Despite the challenges faced by the country, Corona Virus, I am doing better with my business. I have ventured into selling ladies handbags as well. The business is improving each day.
Thank you and I wish everyone a safe stay, keep distance and sanitize.
