  Hello,
  
  A point of clarification is that Zidisha loans *don't* carry any interest charges. Unlike some lending organizations which charge both interest *and* fees, Zidisha charges Fees only.
  
  That said, it's true that the fees here have increased significantly and now unfortunately are very high. You can click on my profile page and read the "To any borrowers who may be reading" section to learn why, and to learn how fees possibly could get lowered again in the future.
  
  In the meantime, please don't confuse your lenders with the Staff,
  a/k/a the Team (whom you can see here: www.zidisha.org/team).
  
  Although the two (2) current members of the Staff
  also are lenders, most lenders are *not* on the Staff.
  
  Only the Staff can help you with administrative and
  technical issues. Your borrower-lender Discussion page
  *isn't* the correct place to try to reach the Staff. To send
  a note to them, please click on the HELP link in your account.
