About Me

I was born in Eastern province of Kenya and despite the many hardships and challenges iwas able to finish my high school and joined hairdresser college and attained a diploma as an instructor.am married and blessed with two children both in primary school.when I got married my husband opened for me a school for hairdressing and tharapy college. I wish my children to become doctors when they grow in future. I like reading magazines and watching movies.

My Business

I own a hairdressing school where I train youths on beauty and therapy. I decided to do this service so that I can develop more youths with skills and knowledge so that they can be able to employ themselves and even got employed to earn a living.i charge them affordable fees which is only$30 per month and they have to study for 6 months.and am the cheapest school in my area since live here is not of high class. I provide them with free lunch also. I use my income profit to improve my school and home improvement.I will add some equipments such as drier, steamer, blow-dryer,move to a new location to provide more space for my school's growth. The profit will also greatly improve my living standards.

Loan Proposal

The loan will help me to purchase a drier for the hair. This will cost $9.7/-
This will increase the number of customers because of the efficiency of the machine and also boost the name of the business.
This will also increase the the profit of the business by 30% which will boost also the life of my family.

Hi zidisha team I have been a member of this group for some time now but the loan limit is not increasing ie from ksh9000----to ksh1 500/- . NB this loan of ksh 9000/- was fully paid and in time before they reduced the loan to 1,500/- .
Due to this issues im requesting for a refund of the MLF amount which I had contributed of ksh 6,000/-.coz the loan amount is much more lower than the intial limit.

      Dear Felistus,

Your loan only increases only when the on time repayment score is 90% or higher. Your score is 68% so your loan didn’t increase.

Since your last loan some things have changed. www.zidisha.org/forums/4

One of them is the credit risk payment which is deducted from every new loan and which is refundable after a loan is fully repaid.

If you still want to ask a refund of your MLF then you should read our FAQ www.zidisha.org/faq#faq-68. There you will find all the info about how to do that.

This is a place where you can talk with your lenders.

      Kind regards,
      Joost

        Dear Felistus,

Sorry I am a lender volunteer and I don’t have all the info that staff is able to see.

My advice is to create a support ticket and ask staff for an explanation. You can do this by creating a support ticket using the help menu (www.zidisha.org/borrower/help).

        Kind regards,
        Joost
