About Me
My name is Zipporah Rono. I am 26 years old, married and blessed with two children. I am the third born in a family of four. I reside with my family at Chepkosa village in Bomet County.
In order to support the low income, I started one year ago a cereal shop at Kapkwen shopping centre which has become a big success to me and my family so far.
My hobbies are reading, listening to music and adventure.
My Business
I have a cereal shop at Kapkwen shopping centre about 3 kilometres from Bomet town. I sell cereals such as: maize, wheat, rice, millet and a few legumes such as dried beans. I source most of these products from Western Kenya and I normally make a margin of about 40% profit. My main customers are local residents and hotels within the shopping centre.
The business is good, so I would like to expand by adding stock.
Loan Proposal
I intent to buy 6 more 90 kg each of; green grams, beans and pishori rice at a price of $110,$132 and $126 respectively to an existing stock as follows:
90 kg bags of green grams costs $18.33 per bag. 6 bags at $18.33 = $110
90 kg bags of beans costs $22 per bag. 6 bags at $22 = $132
90 kg bags of pishori rice costs $21 per bag. 6 bags at $21 = $126
TOTAL= $368
This is a result of gaining more customers in my shop as a result of my good relation, being faithful and communication skill in customer conduct which has created trust between me and my customers.
It will give me an additional total profit of $60-$80. This is a good additional profit to my business. I will ensure prompt repayment of the loan when funded. I hope and believe that you will find in your heart to consider supporting me again for my better tomorrow.
