About Me

I am Kenyan young man, 5th born in a family of seven. my entire family lives within Kisii county where they do peasant farming . I live alone in Kisii town at Egesa estates in the same county. i am businessman and a student in town.I do sale men wear shoes and attend my business management course at ELGON VIEW COLLEGE. i decided to join business to be an independent person, support my daily needs, pay my fees. I get my whole sale shoes from Nairobi that i retail them in kisii markets in an open market. i do play and watch football games and socialize with my fellow students whenever am free from job i take evening classes of business management.Am a hard working and determined person to succeed and with your help i look forward for a bright future, thanks zidisha.

My Business

i love this business because it meets my daily needs seriously. this men wear shoes has got high demand due to the many colleges, schools, hospitals and other institutions. my customers prefer my services and goods because i do move with test and likes. there is competition from bata shops around but later we much out with our targets. i do face challenges like heavy rains in this region hence giving us hard time to cover and store them since we operate in an open market. i do make 120 dollars in my monthly calculated net profit of which i use to settle my needs like food 10dollar, clothing 12dollar, rent 18dollar, transport 5dollar,50 dollar for my college fees and save the rest in my savings account. i look forward to own my shop for these sales and have enough stock in the market and even create employment to somebody to move business whenever am attending my classes. thanks

Loan Proposal

my licence is about to expire by mid of November ,hence I want to be able to pay for it so that my business premise won't be closed ,the cash I heard ha used it to replenish my shoes stock that is yet to be delivered to my shop. Getting this money will be very helpful at the moment situation.

Samwel, the next time the system allows you to do so, please post a photo of *yourself* at the very top of your profile page, clearly showing your entire face, centered in the frame. That also would help to ensure that your face would appear centered in the little circle to the left of your name, just above each of your comments here on your Discussion page.

Borrowers are supposed to do that for the second loan request and for each subsequent loan request. (Lenders are not required to post a photo of themselves.)

The system will let you make that change anytime you create a new loan proposal and for as long as it remains in fundraising.

If you encounter any difficulties, you would need to contact the Staff by clicking on the HELP link in your account. This is the Staff, a/k/a the Team: www.zidisha.org/team. As you can see at that link, there currently are two people on the Staff. Anytime you need help with anything technical or administrative, you would need to send a note to them via the HELP link in your account, because they almost never visit the borrower-lender Discussion page for any individual borrower.

Other photos you can post lower down, here on your borrower-lender Discussion page, along with a comment about each photo for your lenders.

    Thank you.
