About Me

Am Harry Bayo, Kenyan Citizen with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science And Information Technology. Am the last born in a family of six sibling. I live in Komarock estate in nairobi, and am into business especially Mpesa shops combined with mobile accessories and repair. Have set up a new project dealing in Poultry farming specializing in Quail birds to produce Quail meat and eggs which requires extra income thus need for loan. Hope this project will be suffice to repay the loan with easy.

My Business

I own three Mpesa shops combined with mobile accessories and mobile repair within nairobi area which fetches not less than ksh. 40,000 monthly income. Recently i ventured into Poultry farming specializing in Quail bird farming which is in high demand in nairobi due to its nutritional values in its products. Am intending to produce quail eggs, meat( to supply to super markets within nairobi and beyond) and young chicks for sale to other upcoming farmes. Quail bird goes for ksh 500 and eggs go for ksh 30 per egg so its a lucrative business which if i get enough funds, i will have approximately 1000 birds producing averagely 900 eggs per day which fetches Ksh. 18,000 per day selling eggs whole sale at ksh 20. That is my target if funds allow but very soon i will archive my target in the next 4 months since the project has already started. Get me the funds please. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

Hello Zidisha group, Thanks for the opportunity to access loans and expand our business. The first loan helped me a lot now my business is running. I have 400 flock of quail birds and i collect averagely 300 eggs daily which i supply to one of our local super markets at Kes 30, so i make kes 9000 daily. My profit is kes 7000 after paying my worker and other expenses like feeds.

From this have managed to secure a dealership contract from our leading mobile phone operator Safariom to sub let Mpesa agent shops which has 3 out lets already each earning me Kes 2000 monthy which makes it kes 6000.

Am going to use this loan to expand my Mpesa business and open more outlets country wide which will give me a minimum if kes 50000 monthly residual income. This will help me clear the loan very fast early more than stated so that i can get a bigger loan which can help me expand my Mpesa Agent shops to hit my target of earning kes 100,000 monthly.

Thanks to all lenders in advance and Happy New Year 2014.

First i take this opportunity to say very sorry to my lenders for failing to pay on time but i promise to make up for lost time soonest as cash flow start to normalize. In the recent past have gone through a lot of financial constraints till i was unable to pay my loan as have been doing since i joined zidisha. I lost alot of cash in my other endevours which made it difficult to run my business as usual. Secondly my chicken are way beyond six months and still they have not started laying so i still run my project out of pocket, this happened due to the fact that the owner of the place where i was keeping my birds in Nairobi decided to chase me away and i had to transfer my birds to the village over 450km away, this change of environment has made the birds delay in laying and i used over ksh 10000 to transfer them, again as the birds are away from where i am now i cant be able to monitor them on a daily basis and employing someone to take care of them cost another burden.
All in all despite all these challenges in short am committed to paying my loan and i will clear it in due time as planned before but as for now let me pay the little that i can get till when i get enough cash flow and start paying higher amounts again.
    Thank you Zidisha family

My business is doing bad and am getting it difficult to pay my current pay but as soon as it resumes i will increase it. Thanks to my lenders. My projects are working out cool especially my poultry and daily cows. My chicken are now 5 months and will start laying in a months' time, after which my earning will increase and i will inrease my loan instalment. My daily cows are ok and will be given to the bull around april next year. My mpesa is doing is cool but i use mpesa earning for upkeep. thanks for understanding my problem but promise to increase it within the next two months.
