About Me

I am married with 2 children who are all schooling. I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is about 43km from Nakuru town. I live in plot number 12A. I have a cereals shop in the shopping centre. My y cereals shop is known by many of my customers and thus this makes me to consistent customers in my business. I am able to purchase cereals in large quantities and as well as sell the same to my customers in large quantities. I also supply cereals in neighbouring shopping centers such as Kongasis, Jogoo and Munanda.

My Business

My business entails the sale of cereals in the shopping centre. The business is marketable and the demand for these product that I sell is very high within this area. The main challenges that this business are poor transport, drought and high prices of commodities that is usually accelerated by drought. This area of Kiptangwanyi is a semi arid area and sometimes the climate becomes so harsh such that nothing does well. At this time the business is usually negatively affected and the revenues goes down. Sometimes there is shortage of water which also highly affects the business. I hope that the loan that I will get from Zidisha microfinance will make me be able to improve the situation of my business.

I would like to use thia second loan that I will get from Zidisha to buy more maize. At this moment the price is good for maize and the harvest was good thus the market is high and I need high capital in order to purchase more maize at this time.

    dear zidisha,i am not able to repay the amount that i was requested monthly due to my business is not doing well at this time as many of my customer is holding money because thy don't have as they depend on farming and this year all farmers in this area get loss as their plant didn't grow because of low rainfall,so i will try other means to able to complete this loan, and if my business catchup ,i will return to shorten the period,i apologies for inconvenience i cause.thanks

    I wish to request that I will not be able to send my monthly repayment for this month. I have just used my income to pay for hospital bill for one of my brother who is admitted in hospital. He has been there for quite some time and thus I was responsible for his upkeep. I hope he recovers soon and i will be able to repay my monthly repayments on time. thanks.

    I wish to reschedule my loan and repay my outstanding balance well ahead of my final date of repayment. This is because I have been able to sell my last stock of beans that I bought last year and which has given good profit. I have now started purchasing beans that are being harvested this year. The business has quite improved well and it is my hope that it is going to improve even more.

    I am glad for this far that I have come and I am grateful for Zidisha's role in my life. my business is doing well and thus I have been able to make on-time repayments. This is a time when the cereals are doing well as many farmers are harvesting and thus I am purchasing large quantities of beans which I usually transport to other towns and sell at a good price. I thus wish to repay all my outstanding balance. Thank you.
