I am Antwi Samuel born to peasant farmers in the Brong Ahafo Region. I am a Ghanaian by birth. My parents did not send me to school at the early ages of my life. I gave them a helping hand at the farm since that was their occupation. I was later enroled in a basic school due to my passion for education . I have been able to progress from the basic level up to the University majoring in economics. Plans are underway to pursue master of philosophy in economics . I am extremely excited and would want to admonish all those from less previlage backgrounds to endeavor not to relent on their efforts
I am in to trading and carpentry. I sell door frames, window frames, doors, furniture of all kinds, beds as well as wood logs. I provide saw miling services to contractors, carpenters and timber merchants. At least I have 5 permanent employees and other casual employees who come to help from time to time. It is a wonderful business venture. My biggest constraint is inadequate funds to add value, buy equipment , pay salary and expand the business.
I will use the loan to planing machine, wood and leather materials for a large scale production. I am to supply furniture to some schools in my community in early September as school is going to be re-open.
I buy a planing machine that cost GHS800, wood GHS1000, leather material GHS 500 and the rest for salary of my workers GHS600 as well as cost of production GHS700
