About Me

I Evelyne Adhiambo Anyumba, iam a second last born in a family of 9,I have a diploma in public relations which I studied with a lot of difficulty since my father died and left my mother in a very hard situation. I am amother of four two boys and two girls I struggled through my childhood education,By selling charcoal and mandazis for my mother everyday after school till I completed. Out of the small capital of ten thousand my mother took from merry go round I bought items for boutique and have grown till now I make ten thousand per month. I like travelling as ahobbie this gives me good ideas.

My Business

I own a boutique in a slum called Manyatta where I live in Kisumu town and i sell beauty products like shoes, second hand clothes, hair products, facial products and bags for ladies, many people use them and hence a very big demand.where I live is far from town and I saw the need of bridging the gap.I started with an average of ten thousand and people are in demand of these goods since its very hard for them to move to town and get them therefore I need more money for expansion because have found the market so lucrative and rewarding This will enable me to employ one more person to help in promoting the sales and also as away of giving back to the community.

Loan Proposal

I need to buy more stock and new designs because beauty products changes with season and time.Items like bags go for $33 per bag, shoes go foe$18 per pair, hair peace$50 ,with different goods and their prices. The benefit it will create for me is that I will have more stock with a variety of products and this increases profit margin, for others I'll also give back to community by increasing my 2 employees salary which will also be growth and all the products will be found within one roof where the community will not use fare to go far to get the goods.I will expect a margin of 5%increase on profit.

My business is situated in the slums of manyatta which was much affected during this post election violence and the business has gone down ,people have not resumed to normal businesses. This gives me no option but to reduce my repayment to a more comfortable one till everything resumes to normal.
