About Me

My is Franklin married with one child am hard working and determined Kenyan.I have a business that is located at Kaptembwa
Majority of our customers are the residents of the area
The main line of business is suppliers of small selected items like sweets, polythenes etc , photocopy and mpesa
Kamptembwa area is a semi slum and has more the 10,000 residence. I have diversified in my business to ensure that there is continuous profitability.
The main challenge of the business is limited lack of funds and we plough back most of the business profit to ensure business growth. The future plans of the business is to become a small wholesale and include more products than what we are currently having.

My Business

My business is currently located at Kaptembwa area in nakuru town
The main business is photocopy, Mpesa and supplies of sweets and polythene.
On average the business makes 1500 per day which translate to around 40,000 per month
MONTHLY EXPENSES
stocks 15,000
rent 3,000
electricity 1,500
salary and wages 9,500
TOTAL EXPENSES 29,000
TOTAL INCOME 21,000
TAX 1500
This shows monthly business accounts and I believe that if I can have more capital business revenues can increase. The business faces competition from other business hence we need to diversify our products and that is why I need some funding so that I can add stock for my business.

Loan Proposal

Thanks a lot Zindisha team, I was able to take business license. Since the time i moved to my new business premises we have been sharing meter but other tenants have complained that my power consumption is very high. I have applied for meter separation from Kenya power and the total cost is $ 82 inclusive of $ 29.3 meter deposit.
It is my hope that you will consider my loan application to be repaid within seven weeks.
Thanks in advance
regards
Franklin

Thanks alot Zindisha team I will forever be grateful for your continued support.
My last loan was $7 although $5 was used as fund security for future loan, I used the balance to add stock to my Mitumba business.
My Business was doing well due to back to school hence most parents were buying second hand clothes like jackets shirts for their kids. Hence i was able to pay the loan ahead of time.

The business is very low and currently am incurring heavy family expenses. It is not my will to default. I thought i will be able to clear my loan by the end of December but difficulty financial circumstances limited me.
I promise to continue paying the loan without default. The money that i was given i invested well with the stated purpose but the return on investment is slow. We expected to do good business in December but my photocopy machine broke down and i also incurred a lot of repair expenses

I had issues at home but they are now sorted. I need to clear the loan and see whether i can access another loan
December season is coming to a close and there is good business. With the money I got i bought photocopying papers and am able to sell more than 3 reams per week.
every ream has a profit of 300 hence i make 900 per week from selling photocopying papers alone.
