About Me

At 8yrs old i joined kiru primary school a local primary school,we used to trek to and fro though being 3 km away,.Because of poverty our parents made us to wake up at 5 am we go to the garden we work for an hour then come back to prepare to school sometimes without breakfast porridge .At lunch time we have to run home and prepare lunch ie ugali and veges from garden, while sometimes i used to prepare lunch my following bro and sis will be watering our two cows, then we eat speedily then start running again to school i remember that most of the days we to be beaten at school for late coming .after school we were to bring water 2km away grace cows and lock them then wash our feet as we had no shoes, then settle for our supper then sleep.in the 1980s there were no homework from school.
As I went through secondary school I didn't get good grade, so started working as a casual labour at the farms so that I can buy myself clothes, then I came to Nairobi in1999 to seek for job after wasting 9yrs.I worked at various construction sites as casual labour. Then in2003 I got job at G4S as a guard.
From 2003 with that Small salary I chipped in to help my parents to educate my younger siblings 5of them,Around 2010 is when I dedicated my salary towards my family development though I was servicing loans for my brothers schools fees.I went for another loan which I bought the POSHO mill.
in2017 I resigned from g4s to run the business as now we are operating the poshomill,a small retail shop and I have a small farm where I plant vegetables, they cover my rent of 80$,school fees for my kids 920$ per year and others for example pay loans 200$.

from the poshomill in weekly we mill three bags of 90kgs which give us a profit of 15$ and milling for those who come with their maize we get 50$ weekly .from the kiosk we get around 20$ weekly as profit
we are looking forward to introduce more varieties of products in the kiosk for example we bring all varieties of cereals, detergents, beverages, cooking fats and salads etc.
