About Me

I am a Kenyan citizen. After completing my high school education, I volunteered to work in a nursery school that was in my village. While teaching there, I realized there was fulfillment in teaching young children and so i later enrolled in a teacher training college.I am now a teacher by profession teaching in a Kenyan school. I enjoy my work immensely since each new day I learn from my students and they also learn from me as well.It is a fulfilling opportunity for me since i also get to interact with young innocent children who are so much fun to be around! I enjoy the outdoors so much and when i am free i take nature walks mostly with my learners.Reading books also inspires me a lot so i always set some time for that each day.

My Business

I have an established shop that sells second hand children's clothing. As we know, children are always growing and the demand for their clothes is always there. My business is doing great as i am able to cloth children from low income households and even middle income homes who cannot afford to buy new clothes from shops. Thanks to the first loan i got from Zidisha, I have been able to increase my stock and also expand my business. I am back again for another loan. The Zidisha community has really helped me, and I could never be more greatful. With the loan of Ksh 103,985, I intend to add an equity bank counter. I will use $800 as my equity bank float, add $24 as my Mpesa float. With the income I get, I intend to increase my second hand shop cloths and comfortably pay my son's school fees.

Loan Proposal

I have an established shop that sells second hand children's clothing. As we know, children are always growing and the demand for their clothes is always there. My business is doing great as I am able to cloth children from low income households and even middle income homes who cannot afford to buy new clothes from shops. Thanks to the first loan i got from Zidisha, i have been able to increase my stock and also expand my business. I have also being able to go back to school and i manage to pay my school fees in good time as a result of the profits accumulated. I am back again for another loan since i want to enlarge my shop and increase my float capital in my mpesa and also increase baby clothes stock. If I get the loan I will use USD 100 to increase my float capital while the rest USD 30 I will use to buy more baby clothes so as to increase my stock.

Sadly, since the covid-19 pandemic hit the entire world, my business went down. I am, therefore, not able to pay 3,712 KES due on Dec 10, 2020.

By business is currently going through a rough patch. Sales have drastically reduced but I am hoping once the election period is over, things will be much better and I will increase my repayment installments

    Hello Lenders!
Thanks once more for fully funding my loan. I am lost for words.
Here is a breakdown of my loan use:
With the loan of Ksh 103,985, I intend to add an equity bank counter. I will use $700 as my equity bank float, add $100 as my Mpesa float and $24 for purchasing more second hand clothes for resale. I expect to make a profit of $50 everyday from this new venture. This will enable me start a CBO for helping needy orphans back in my village. Thanks so much for the support my lenders. I will keep you posted on my progress.

    Hi Lenders,
Thank you for funding my last loan. I have been able to increase my sales both in the mpesa till as well as selling of clothes . This has enabled me to easily pay my school fees as well as pay for my grandmother's hospital bill, though sadly, she passed on.
