My names are Catherine Bakari Born brought up in Kenya.Lived almost all my life in Nairobi.Went to school up to secondary Education then college after that worked in different companies later opened my own business oasis dreams beauty parlour and while the i financed my course training with Kenya funguo foundation Kenya where i learned beauty production and business management.Since then have been learning from on line course Like AMI and others
But only recently i decided to expand my business to venture into my own beauty production for my oasis beauty product. I have website and i sell on line so i online almost all the time
I m out going open minded spiritual and curios person and especially on business fields
Have hard my ups and down in business and life and i m the kind that believes in crawling whenever i cant wal,walk when i cant tun but always on move never give up

My Business

Yah i love talking about my business because i love it.It started from scratch i mean no starting capital but client and no equipment but my hands .No beauty product but a bottle of massage oil and my own beauty product for personal use
I started by hiring a small space in a hotel in Miliman then i was an employee of a hotel that was known then as Heron court
The place where i use to hire small space was near by walking distance form my work and home so there was no transport cost.
Started with my friend and slowly client i use to attend to at sauna at my place of work would then come to my hired place for facials treatment steaming was done with bowl of hot water and towel to cover my product were natural like eggs white York as face mask avocado lemon honey mix hair treatment and the shampoo i could afford then form local shop
Within as short period of time i had more than enough client and hire d professionally trained therapy is and beautician barber to join me paid on commission i did home and office boarding school visit for hair cut hair do and manicure pedicure
my i registered my company under oasis dreams beauty parkour and today i have even till number for same business Thanks to God and shall forever be grateful to Safari com for communication and mpesa payment then now till use even on line

Loan Proposal

Thanks i already have my old running business under the name of oasis and added new product which is now oasis beauty soap.My oasis business is been on for long and thus i use the meny i get from oasis to fund my new project of soap making.The help of my first loan from Zidisha was able to buy some packaging material since i had ready chemical for making the products
I got good profit from my first sale and managed to pay loan before the due date
which happen to be the reasons did not qualify for more but i m still grateful though is better than to fail to pay
This time i have ready chemical funded by my old business .Have 500mls of sodium laury,(re-known chemical name Ungerol) Got 500g of sodium chloride or iodized salt(Re-known chemical name normal kitchen salt then cocodithanolamide CDEA (Re-known chemical name Ufacid which i have remaining left from previous is more than 800mls and all i need is 500ml so good to go.i need water soluble dye(normal food color)which i would get from my kitchen 20g and last but not list Benzalkonium chloride(which is normal preservatives that i have left over from previous 50g and all i need is20mls and fragrance 40mls which i have left over from previous with this i m sure of making cool 20liters of multipurpose liquid soap and and list 3 time within the next one month since it takes only a day to prepare good quality multipurpose soap and to my advantage i have ready client who ordered and awaiting this time unlike when i started.The cost of chemical and production is around $8usd and for every 20ltrs i sell at minimum $18usd thus cool $10 dollar profit for every production that is why i paid my loan even before due date which makes it not possible for increased credit but i m grateful all the same
The truth is i have more client need large quantities than my production and is from word of mouth if i go to online will be going like hot cake
But due to limit in fund can only do the possible for now and aim high.If i m lucky which i already think i m to get the funds or loan.I would use the loan from zidisha to buy $1 to buy air time for communication online ,save $1usd to my fixed account use the remaining around $4 usd balance to buy packaging material plastic paper bag as i already have plastic bottle container which i bought form General plastic company sometimes back
