About Me

I am from the upper West Region of Ghana. I was born on the 9th June, 1963. I am married to Mr. Felix Kondayire. I have 5 children made up of 4 girls and a boy. Three of my daughters are still in school. My husband is the breadwinner of the family, both the nuclear and the extended family. It is really a difficult task for him. His salary is mostly used to cater for our children's needs both in school and home, family up keep as well as his extended family up keep. I applied for a loan to aid in my sowing business expand but the interest is not favoring me in my business and the mode of payment is not favorable and profit is used to pay for the loan.

My Business

I am a dress maker and i also want to do tie and die clothing. I sow dress dresses for the young and the older ones. I also want to buy a new sowing machine to enhance my business. I also want to start selling pieces of cloths.
I want to use the profit i get to plough back into the business and also help my husband to pay our children's school fees.

Loan Proposal

I will use $50 to buy more cloths to sew for sale. I will also use $20 to buy threads to be used to sew. I will again use $30 to buy part of my rent of my shop at the market. I will use $39 to buy food and ingredients for my family. This loan is going a long way to help my business grow as well as put food on the table for my family and I.

Loan was originally scheduled to take two months and regular payments completed the loan in a little over three months. Thank you again and continued best wishes with your business.

Loan was originally scheduled to take two months. After some reduced and missed payments during the rainy season, the loan was fully paid about nine months after being disbursed. Thank you for honouring your commitment to your lenders.

I used half of the total amount of loan to buy a new sewing since my current is faulty and can't be repaired. I then buy materials to sew for sale.
I also bought food stuff for my family and i also helped my husband to pay our daughter's hotel fees at the university.

Hi all, i have being trying to pay my last instalment but it seems the payment system is not working, it keeps telling me"you have exceeded your transaction limits". It has been happening to me since 5th June, Zidisha management says they are working to resolve it. So i just want my lenders to know so that they don't think i have failed to repay in time. Thanks

The reason why am changing is that my sales are going down and my customers are not coming. Also my husband's salary has not come for some number of months now and we are depending on my small sales.
