My name is adobasom patience a business woman and native of Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana.I m 26years of age. I come from a family of six which i am the only lady among them.When I was a child at age 6, I use to sell pure water anytime I close from school at the market. This helped me to take care of my education.this is so because I lost both parents at a tender age. With little help from my brother,I was able to complete up to the secondary level of education. I was able to do some savings which I used to begin my provisions shop and with injection of small profits that I made, help me a lot. In fact, the peoples in my town are so caring and peaceful co existence is the least to mention.I started my business with an amount of ghs 100. In fact I will want my child to be a lawyer or doctor in the future of which I will be grateful. My favourite hoby is playing volley ball.I like it because when I was in the secondary level school, I normally involved in playing volley.
My provisions shop was started on a table top. I sell items such as milk, millo, tin tomatoes, rice, different kinds of soaps, mackerel different kinds, batteries, sugar etc. Demand for these items are high because people need them day in and day out. In fact,these items form part of the basic necessity of life and so high demand for such products. I choose these type of business because I develop the interest of selling back at primary school when I use to sell pure water. More also,there is high demand for such products.it can also stand in the test of time.it does Not get spoil when kept for long time. It cost me ghs1000 when I'm buy new inventories. My expected revenue is around ghs180. I normally plough back the profits.
The items I intend to buy with this loan if granted includes;
Ghesiah soap 40pieces @ Gh3 = Gh120 cedis
Tin tomatoes (large size) 5pieces @ Gh25 =Gh125 cedis
Mackerel 10 pieces @ Gh8 =Gh80 cedis
Rice :2 bags @ Gh180 each =Gh360 cedis
Milo : 5 pieces @ Gh12 each =Gh50 cedis
Sugar: 3 bags @ Gh150 each=Gh450 cedis
Key soap :1 box @ GH 240 =Gh240 cedis
Omo : GH 98 cedis.
This loan will help me a lot if granted . This is because my provision shop will be filled with new items. It will also enable me to serve my customer's well. I am very optimistic that if this loan is granted, my profit margins will increase to Gh200.
