About Me

My names are Anderson Kitsao Jeffwah and I stay in Konjora on the coast of Kenya close to Kilifi. I had little education just primary since little money. I have a a wife and five children and they have need of education. So I work as a gardener and security for a big house in Kilifi. Also, we have a kiosk in Konjora to add to our pockets where we sell unga, sima, soap and other things. The first born is in secondary. These girls are in primary at Dera Tuamini public school.

My Business

The kiosk is located in our small village and sells to the local people so they do not have to travel to town. This adds to the money we need to provide education for the children.

The Zidisha loans have been helpful to add to stock and increase the profit we have from the store. The first born started secondary school in January so I am thankful. Every little loan is a help.

Loan Proposal

I will add coffee which is wholesale 12 packages for 220 shillings, about $2 US, so retail for 20 shillings each package. The coffee is most popular in the cold season. Sugar we buy wholesale for 90 shillings per kg and sell at 100 shillings. This larger loan will allow more sales and more profit. Thank you Zidisha lenders.

Thank you for repayments. Did you already visit the school? Did your child like it?

I will use this loan to buy stock, especially the flour used to make ugali. Ugali is our main food in Kenya. There was a short supply but now available and sells very fast. Buy for 95 for 2 kg, then sell for 105. My first born did well on the school test and is now attending Sokoke secondary school, so these fees are an extra cost for the family.

My dear lenders I am happy to pay my last loan and ready for another to boost stock in our family store. We will buy maize flour before the price increase. It is now 980 shillings for 12 bags and we sell for 100 shillings each 2 kg bag. Will also sell sugar for a good profit. My first born is sitting for the KCPE exam, we pray for success to get a good grade and a good secondary school

The last loan was to buy sugar flours and coffee for our small shop. As during elections people in the village stayed home instead of going to town to shop. They always come to us but more important during this time. Our profits are being saved for the first born for school fees when he goes to secondary in January
